  • The hate for Haney is out of hand!

Lomachenko was the best thing since sliced bread when he was waving the ref to the fight and showboating vs C level Commey, 10 or so months later he looks rusty but Ortiz is a highly skilled prospect fans are rating now suddenly Lomachenko needs a zimmer frame to get to the ring!

They have removed Lomachenko from the P4P lists purely to discredit Haney should he win.

Then the media, fans are salivating over Tank vs Garcia - Two serial duckers who have simply ran out of undefeated C level opponents and faded, little B level guys to fight so are now forced to either fight each other or get schooled and shown up for what they truly are vs Haney. Once again, the path of least resistance. Not to say its not a good fight but that is the real situation here. People are tired of seeing Tank vs these unknown, undefeated novices and if they ain't they damn well should be.

Kambosos is better than anything either of them have on their record as-is Loma even if he is old and that will remain regardless who wins until the loser bounces back and actually beats someone with a pulse.

They call themselves boxing fans but they don't support pure boxers who are credits to the sports, they just downplay them and give all the props to limited punchers who make careers out of fighting fringe guys and wonder why the sports dead.

Lomachenko hasn't even stepped in the ring yet and they are already downplaying him as much as possible in an attempt to discredit Haney.

They did this bs with Rigondeaux also and sat him on the shelf. Justified everyone ducking him and would overly praise the likes of Frampton, LSC, Quigg

Kambosos sucks. And I haven’t seen anyone hating on Haney unless you call not mentioning him hating.

You haven’t seen anyone calling Haney the Email Champ for example?

I don't like (or hate) Haney but he seems like a guy who wants to fight anyone. Loma might be old and all that but he's not finished. If Haney beats him he gets full respect from me for that. No more email champ

All fighters get hate once they get attention. It's fine.

He looked rusty vs. Ortiz because 1) Ortiz is good, and 2) Loma was in a warzone for 4 months. Taking a break between fights is very different from not doing anything boxing related for months.

Haney is not a pure boxer. He used to be when he was just coming up, but the recent fights, including fights against Kambosos were some of the worst things I've seen in the ring. No power, jab and grab clinchfest. That's not boxing - clinching is still illegal in boxing.

And the reason he's getting discredited is mostly because he's a HUGE weight bully. Ever wonder how much of a weight bully Haney is? He's 24. He fights at 135 lbs. Care to guess what weight he fought at when he was 18? You got it. 135. Actually had a few at 140.
To compare this to the other guy most known for weight bullying, when Canelo was 18, he fought at 147. When he was 24, Canelo was firmly planted at Caneloweight (155) where he was getting all the weight bully hate. Still not nearly as bad as Haney. Dude supposedly walks around 170 and is 155+ in the ring every time. Most MWs and SMWs did not rehydrate 20+ lbs, let alone LWs.

You know at what weight Loma competed at when he was 18? Flyweight. How about when he was 24? Featherweight. And now, at what weight he's fighting Haney? Lightweight.

I'll give Haney some credit if he actually beats Loma in a boxing match. Most likely scenario he's going to be 30 lbs heavier in the ring and will jab and grab his way to another ugly decision win, after which he'll proceed to talk sht as if he accomplished something. If he actually manages to lose to a 35 year old fighter 3 divisions smaller than him, he's going to become a joke.

Loma is clearly faded, the Ortiz fight proved that.

This will still be Haney’s best win as Loma is still a credible name but it’s not some P4P #1 crowning, elite level win like he is deludedly claiming.

If you really wanna prove you’re “the best fighter in the world”, stay at 135 and fight Shakur next. An elite fighter in his PRIME. The winner of Haney-Stevenson would have a legitimate claim to top 3 P4P IMO.

loma fans think he gets too much hate, tank fans think hes a big target for all sorts of reason etc etc & now haney fans are on the same boat even thinking that downplaying loma is a backhander really just to insult haney himself, boxing fans must be one paranoid lot maybe, or maybe its all true, Q xfiles music........

But Jamaine Ortiz is seen as a good up-and-comer. Lomachenko beating him shows he still has something left in the tank.
