David Benavidez Is Overrated...

That's exactly why I think those matchups would be interesting from a "let's see how good Benavidez really is" standpoint. I think Bivol out points him all night long. If he can't get through the two Smiths, he's not getting anywhere near Beterbiev. So those are the next litmus test if he can clean out 168 (Charlo if he ever fights again or Andrade, and Morell). We'll see if Canelo fights him or vacates.Comment

smith has no chance and joe only a ko punch. Hopefully we get to see Morell jr vs benavidez or andrade.I generally think that things like falling in on your punches and letting your guard hand drop when you're punching as bad things also, but your opponent has to be able to take advantage.
175 will be really interesting for Benavidez. I think Joe Smith Jr and Callum Smith would make for interesting matchups before the champions.Comment

David got dropped on his ass by a JAB from a bum I can't even name lmfao
David is not elusive, he gets hit. Joe Smith Jr lands on him, it's a wrap.Comment

I disagree as long as he can do it. The whole point in boxing is to fight as light as you can. Its a very hard thing to do. Its even harder fighting a long fight after sucking yourself dry. I dont think he will do it more than 2-3 more fights.Comment

Plant is shorter, with less reach and only has 1 hand.
that's why i call him a scrub. 1 armed pillow fist with a suspect gas tank. he is a scrub of the highest order.
Ramirez is taller, has more reach than Benavidez and he digs in with both hands, head and body.Comment

Ramirez is also slow as hell, zero head movement and is basically a heavy bag. What you think David does to to a slow plodder who stands right in front of him? He would destroy him.
