Canelo-Ryder is the fight no one is asking for yet it's happening. Why wouldn't Benavidez call out Canelo? Canelo should be looking at making this happen since I know he's all about challenges and you can't deny Canelo-Benavidez makes sense from a business standpoint too

I think Bivol is the worse fight for Canelo. He's still going to get beat up, but by a boxer. That's a special kind of frustrating. At least with Benavidez Canelo can give and take and while he may take damage he'll still be in it because it's more of a fight than a pure boxing match. He's the better defensive fighter of the two (him and Benny), in my opinion, and can get lower for body work so he's got stuff to work off of vs. Benny. Not much for him vs. Bivol

Canelo is too small for 175.

Benavidez is there to be hit dude, in order to beat ginger a boxer needs very accurate high work rate, great defense, footwork, consistency and high ring iq ,coincidentally all these both Floyd and Bivol possess ,cant say same for bennys case. But we'll see, hopefully canelo takes on david before Bivol whos is a more dangerous opponent imho.

Canelo should leave 175 alone! Canelo vs. Benavidez is a better EVENT! I understand that beating Bivol is a bigger ACCOMPLISHMENT, but no one is excited to see it, and the result will probably be the same! Choose David Benavidez instead!

What’s annoying about canelo fighting Bivol again is not only do we not get to see him fight Benavidez this year but we also won’t get to see Bivol against Beterbiev.

That's a good point. I'd far rather see Bivol and Beterbiev settle things than a Bivol rematch.

Canelo, a great counter puncher, is a bad match up for Benavidez, but Canelo does take rounds off and fades late nowadays. The question would be whether Benavidez can maintain that workrate with the discipline shown by Bivol.

Lol. Considering Bayless was allowing Plant to hold like a wrestler the entire fight, it is more impressive that Benavidez beat Plant up so bad in the clinches. Put Jack Reiss in that fight and Plant was gone by 9 or 10. Not even debateable.

Benavidez beat the snot out of Plant with literally his arms tied. He will beat Canelo down if they fight.
