Folks seem to ignore that Canelo isn’t very good on the back foot and he will spend the whole night on the back foot the same way bivol made him. I’m not saying David wins but. Canelo does not have Calebs dimensions either.

He's gonna have a very tough time landing anything of significance against canelo. There's a reason Golovkin and kovalev didn't wanna sit down on their punches against canelo. He's got too much firepower. David will be no different.
Benavidez wasn't hesitant, Plant was running and holding way more than what is actually legal. Had the ref done his job Benavidez would've gotten him outta there. Plant also had his straight hand extended the whole time, making it next to impossible for David to work. You clenela alvaroid fans are delusional. Mr tainted tacos was washed by Bivol, then went life and death with cripple g - in a fight where they both looked like they should retire, and you think he can school anyone at the top? Nonsense... clenela is probably going to vacate rather thab fight DB.

Canelo has a full dance card. He will try to avenge his defeat to Bivol first, then afterwards he can fight Benavidez.

Benavidez showed that he deserves an offer from Canelo, but Canelo will not oblige. It would be more devastating for Canelo to lose against Benavidez than to lose to a handpicked light heavyweight.....so he'll continue to look for fights in this weight class until his fans get tired of this gimmick.

Canelo should leave the harder test(Bivol) for last , take care of business first at 168 with ryder and benny whip them asses then put all his focus on 175 Bivol. That would be smarter route

Well, if he loses the rematch to Bivol he can still have a huge payday against Benavidez.

That’s the better way to go in my opinion.

Benny got the size to go up through cruiserweight. If don't wound up getting Canelo next, move up to 175 meet him there

Weight bully? Well just for context when Canelo was the same age as Benavidez is now, he was outweighing much smaller guys like former lightweight Amir Khan and 35 yr old little Cotto by around 20 pounds in the ring, and didn’t really fight a bigger guy until he was about 28 which was the weight drained D level Chavez jr and a catchweight. So I’m assuming you also consider Canelo a former weight bulky offender, right??

Just curious. For those of you who feel Benavidez doesn’t deserve a Canelo fight just because he punished a 30 yr old former champ who Canelo already beat, how do you explain Ryder deserving a Canelo shot when his biggest win was a gift against a 35 yr old Daniel Jacobs who canelo also beat and barely sc****d by Gabe rosado in his previous fight before Ryder?
