You obviously never saw Mayweather fight in your life. Holding is a tactic that’s been used since the inception of boxing. It takes the person holding and a willing participant for the hold to become successful. Want to prevent holding? Use your feet to create distance and punch….it’s simple

This. Anyone who ever saw a Mike Tyson fight, specifically when he lost, can plainly see that his opponents held when he got inside. Holding his not illegal, and it doesn’t stop a fighter from working in the clinches…which is EXACTLY how Benevidez broke Plant down, he started landing at close range and in the clinches and even with the overhand right to the ear..and plant’s ear was extremely red during the interview.

Man Plant is so predictable ,easily controlling first half fight just to stop moving and using his right hand ,just standing there to be hit and still Benavidez couldn't knock him out like he said he would, Plant could've beat benny but couldn't stick to the gameplan that was working so well. It is what it is.back to the drawing board

Whats clear is that Benavidez style is taylor made for the ginger. Canelo whoops him for sure.

I actually respected Colbert hanging tough until the decision was announced and he tried to pretend like he actually deserved to win. As far as plant, I wanted Benavidez to stop him but no reasonable way you can call Plant fake after that fight. Dude took everything Benavidez threw and fought to the end.

Good win for Benavides. I normally like Kenny Bayless but tonight he was horrendous. Seemed as if Benavides was against 2 people in that ring.

Kenny saved Plant from a KO tonight imo but the fight went pretty much as expected. Plant is just a front runner at the elite level.

Benavidez worked on power so much for this fight that it took away from his volume I think he also crosses his feet too much imo and that will be his undoing particularly when he moves up in weight and faces bigger opps If he threw punches with his feet under him his punches would be a lot more devastating..
