A lot of you guys are giving Vitali way too much credit for this fight. Arreola is a decent fighter in this era but is very limited in his abilities, you could see that last night. Vitali is good but he would have had a very hard time with a fighter that moved his head a lot like Frazier and Tyson. Both of them would have been much more effective on the inside with their speed, especially Tyson. No doubt it would be tough to land against the taller Vitali, but his awkwardness would be a great disadvantage against a fast skilled fighter. The only Fighters I see beating Vitali are, Tyson, Frazier (maybe), Lewis, Ali, Holmes, and probably Holyfield. And another thing, Tyson beat him self, not Douglas. Douglas was only good for one fight because his mother died. Vitali would have no problem with him. OK enough of my rant. lol

Or maybe he wasn't too happy with the contracts, and now has an opportunity to make it better by beating Valuev. Lets see if Vitali sticks around long enough for them to fight.

But with all three of those factors, no chance. He's running out of time, and there are no hall of famers coming up for him to fight before he retires (unless Haye surprises everyone).
And claiming that he beat Lewis is ridiculous. It was a valid stoppage. The cut wasn't caused by a foul, it was caused by a legal punch. It was every bit as valid a win as if he'd been knocked cold.
It appears we have a different view of things. I'm talking about the fighter, not whom he faced. He dominated/KO'd what was available. He's a bigger, more athletic Foreman. How many could stand up to that too well?

That was single-handedly the worst HW fight all year. Both men looked like utter ****, and I'm left thinking "THAT is the man they call the biggest badass in boxing? Give me a fucking break!"
Vitali a badass - my ass, I say.
