Lets hope his new persona isn't the act.

I'll give you one. Watch a documentary on the "real" Joe Louis. He wasn't the same person you see behind closed doors. He own sons attests to this. Why do you think Muhammed Ali disliked Joe so much? Ali called Louis a "Yes man". I'm sure there are many things Louis wanted to say but he couldn't fearing something would happen to him.

The only ****** i see is your reply. You think i don`t know that house negros background?

Fact is whites supported him back then.Fighters like Paul Williams and Mosley are nice and humble but where`s the Fanbase?

Both fighters have to chase big name opponents trying to get a big fight.they Should`nt be the ones doing the chasing.

Not everyone has that certain charisma the public will take a shine to. I think Floyd has it, he just chooses to go another route. And that is fine to if he's making money and happy with it. But neither he or his fans should complain about people not liking him. For better or worse, this is the path he chose. I guess we'll never know if he could have had crossover appeal like Leonard, Oscar, Jordan, Ali etc.

No man is perfect and none of that changes the fact that America, black and white, loved Joe Louis.

And Ali's opinion on Louis wavers depending on which article you read or video you watch from aggravation to admiration. Don't try saying Ali had no respect for Louis because that would be a flat out lie.

You obviously don't know **** about him if you think he was a "house negro" and only whites supported him. In fact, I now believe you're an idiot concerning the subject.

It doesn't change the fact he is a hero for the country and then returns home and he can't eat at a white only restaurant because he's...a hero...NO....but because he's black. No matter what he did, he was still colored and had to remain in his place. Once again, I'm sure there are things he wanted to bring to the surface, but in his best interests, he didn't. Also, I didn't say Ali didn't respect him, you are throwing words in my mouth. I stated he disliked him. Why. He had a chance to be a voice for black people and he chose to shy away from race. Ali on the other hand, once given the platform stood up for not only blacks, but also those he where against a war that had little meaning.

Well you're opinion probably doesn't count to 99% of the people who prefer class over crass no matter what color they are, so maybe you should quit with your sorry ass argument now.
