Tank is right about dehydration clause, but boxers really put stress on their bodies like Teofimo who almost died (they said) from dehydration. All boxers should fight at a healthy and comfortable weight and not force the body to do the impossible. But for money they will keep doing it. Tank will probably fight on the defensive until he feels Ryan weakening, then deliver the KO. But who knows?

The day before weigh in rule has created a entirely different culture in the lower weight divisions 'That never existed in past era's'.
The competition whether it is with the use of catch weights, re-hydration clauses or fighters weight draining themselves excessively 'All of this has devalued the competition and negatively effects the purity of the action'.
Davis is essentially admitting that he wants to purposely decrease Garcia's condition and performance 'And he does not want to fight him at his optimal best'
The lower weight divisions for me are a mess, I would say it is the most worst once you get down below Light Heavyweight 'It increasing then gets worst as you go down through the weight divisions'.
The toxic weight draining culture has not only been embraced by many fighters, it has also been accepted by many boxing fans 'Where they think it is normal and standard, and a behavior that has always been apart of boxing' I am telling you, it has not to this level ever been a part of boxing culture.
It is a completely modern phenomenon, that has increasing intensified under 'The day before weigh in rule'.
Fighters and even boxing fans I honestly don't think? They know what they are watching or competing against.
I have stated this before, the modern day weight draining culture is a toxic 'And it is a modern phenomenon which is endorsed and highly promoted by the day before weigh in rule'.
Note: This is still a good fight and great match making. But I don't think any titles should be sanctioned, it is just a fight in my opinion 'The re-hydration clause is completely unnecessary'.

First, Tank agreed to a catch weight of 138. Remember, Tank already has a belt at 140, whom he won from a bigger man than Garcia. After Garcia accepted the catch weight of 138, days later, they lowered it to 136- or Tank wouldn't take the fight. It seems Tank was doing all he could to discourage Garcia from taking the fight- so they could say Garcia ducked. But, Garcia agreed to 136. And then, at the very last minute, Tank and Team, imposed a 10 lb rehydration clause on top of that- or else, Tank wouldn't take the fight. So, even though handicapped by these stipulations, Garcia agreed, because he really wants this fight.
So, it was Tank ducking Garcia every step of the way, LET THAT SINK IN, until he got the advantages he wanted. Tank had never done this to any other fighter, even though, they love boasting about how Tank has always faced bigger fighters than him, that he's even knocking out middle weights in sparring, that he's levels above Garcia, that he's talented, P4P, highly skilled, possibly GOAT, etc.. But, fight night, by design, Tank will not be facing the best version of Garcia. They are terrified of the best version of Garcia.
Garcia has exposed Tank, without having thrown a single punch! He's exposed the cowardice of Tank and the real, deep down fear, they really, really have of him. The young Garcia, while not even in his prime yet, will be facing a prime Tank- while at the same time, being handicapped by the egregious stipulations imposed by an over-rated, over-hyped Tank. Tank and Team, through these, uncalled for stipulations, have demonstrated their lack of confidence in Tank beating an unrestrained Garcia.
If Tank does happen to win on fight night, the whole world will now know why- because Tank and Team, purposely weight drained Garcia so they could face a lesser version of Garcia. Through their own fear of Garcia, Tank has brought this on himself. They have no one else to blame but themselves. Tank has forever tainted his victory over Garcia, should he pull it out the win. And it will forever dog him. It will be a stain on his resume forever!
Of course, Tank fans don't care how Tank wins. As long as he wins. They'll continue ****-riding the over-hyped, over-rated Tank Train, until it gets obliterated at some point down the line when he faces real competition on an even playing field. And guess what, in spite of the unwarranted stipulations Garcia was forced to accept to avoid the Tank DUCK, even though handicapped, my money is still on Garcia obliterating this hype-train.
This young, exciting, and upcoming Mexican warrior, showed more courage and balls than Tank and Team, who had to impose all these egregious stipulations to give their fighter an unfair advantage. An unrestrained Garcia, 100% obliterates Tank- and they know it! And even though Tank- by design, will not be facing the best version of Garcia, my money will still be on Garcia.
If Tank does happen to beat Garcia, he WILL NOT be the face of boxing! Because, Tank and Team, purposely made sure they were not facing the best version of Garcia. Just the facts! So, if you don't like the facts, cry me a damn river! But, should Garcia beat Tank- HE WILL BE the face of boxing and doubly more so! Especially, after Tank and Team, purposely restrained and handicapped him. So, a win will be that much more glorious for Garcia!
I predict that Garcia will become the face and future of boxing! If Garcia doesn't beat tank this time around due to the unfair advantages imposed by Tank and Team- he will eventually beat Tank on an even playing field at 140, should Tank find the courage to defend his 140 pound belt against Garcia. An unrestrained Garcia, 100% obliterates Tank! FACT! And I further predict, that not only will Garcia eventually have a victory over Tank, but Garcia will also be the one who eventually dethrones and brings to a sudden stop the other two, over-rated and over-hyped trains in Haney and Stevenson. Just wait and see! You heard it hear first!elcompachuy likes this.

If Ryan didn’t accept all of Tank’s bullsh-t terms then Tank wouldn’t agree to fight.
