What pisses me off besides the big increase and more PPV's is that the Brits are paying 99 pounds ($120) to the States' $224.job43

Since yours expires in May, your renewal will be subject to the price hike. Mine runs out December, and will be subject to the new cost then, if I forget to cancel before then.Offer Structure 2023
WHAT HAPPENS TO EXISTING CUSTOMERS?
Your contract and price do not change, and you are not affected by the changes if you keep your current subscription active. This applies to our monthly, contracting, and annual upfront customers alike. If you cancel your existing subscription, you will lose the benefits of your old package once your subscription has expired, and when resubscribing, the new offer structure will apply.
WHEN WILL THINGS CHANGE FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS?
Currently, we do not plan to change anything for existing customers.

So in my opinion, I don’t think it’s a great long-term plan but I guess they’re the ones in the business, so I can’t exactly say it’s right or wrong.
to me, it looks like a company haemorrhaging money trying to make a quick fix to get more money coming in and then deal with longer term plans afterwards.
no company has to make calculated decisions which involves doubling their price if they don’t desperately need money quickly.
This is clearly not a case of company realizing that they had been "leaving money on the table" as for example Apple, selling its latest Iphone for 500$ and then in 2023 realizing that they could have sold it for 1000$ all those years.

Murkowski needs to learn how to read the room. A 125% price increase during a time of high inflation and rising interest rates is NOT a "sound business decision"
Had they not already lost me as a subscriber due to their 1 device limit for PPV, they definitely would have lost me over this price increase.job43 likes this.
