It was a really cool idea at the start. I could turn it on for anything I wanted for $9.99 per month. Didn't have to feel like was getting "screwed." I understand with the outrageous paychecks guys like Canelo and GGG were getting that the "business model wasn't sustainable." Last year the customer service guy told me to just cancel and re-sign up for the $99.99 for the year, which I did. I don't have a masters in business (I was always pretty good at math though) but can't see how having your original customers disappear altogether is better than offering them a discounted rate (still more expensive than the original) and calling them a "founding member" or some other bull****. I mean, new customers get a better rate than I do and I signed up from the beginning. Like many others, I'll just pay PPV for the best fights once in awhile like Crawford-Spence and just stream everything else or watch the highlights the next morning. Maybe then the fighters will be more likely to take a piece of the action and more motivated to make good fights and we won't see guys with a "contract" running out the clock with fights no one wants to see.

I've had them for a few years but I will only reorder on an ad hoc basis when they have good fights. I don't mind paying for a good fights but a lot of times the content is not good enough for subscribing for the whole year

I love how they piss on the loyal customers who subscribed from the beginning by charging even MORE than a new subscriber. Who thinks this is a good idea??? At least give SOMETHING like a "discounted" price for "loyal" customers. Oh well, I've got your market research right here...sidefx996 likes this.

250 a year would be reasonable if it included two Canelo PPVs. Maybe even one Canelo PPV.
it doesn’t. You’re paying $250 a year for Dillion Whyte, Jaime Mungia and Katie Taylor.
To each their own, but to me that is an absurd price tag… half the time I don’t even bother to stream their fights.

To be fair DAZN did have some quality fights over the years and had a good concept, they just did a complete 180 on what they stated was their model and that doesn't sit well with me. Also I've had the app since it started mostly to watch the UK/European fights and it was pretty glitchy always crashing and freezing or the audio wouldn't be synced.
