Well crap. My market analysis outlook is now a big fking ZERO for Dazn. Minus 1 yearly subscription. Cram your darts, I'm out.
Watch what happens when you piss on my leg and tell me global data suggests I'm gonna sit there and take it.

I canceled my yearly subscription. I had been paying from the beginning of DAZN but not anymore. Singling out US customers for a 100+% price increase for a product that hasn’t delivered value, f’ you very much. I will go out of my way to find an alternative.

Americans and Mexicans don't really care about British fights any more than Bulgarian fights. (or darts wtf is up with that anyhow?). They just got Dazn to see some fights. But nobody here wants to see British people fight and hit bullseyes enough to stick around after the price doubled. I wondered if that figured in to the data?

Canceled my subscription and it ends in April. I’m not going to die over losing DAZN, same thing goes for PPV’s these days. I can wait till the next morning to watch it for free and if which is a big if something exciting happens it would be uploaded in hours after the fight.

This isn’t good news. I wish murkowski had been the point man from day one in boxing and not made Eddie Hearn the face of the app. He really harmed their business with his arrogance and bridge burning. But that’s the entitlement, he believed he was entitled to be in charge in the usa, and how he spoke to and about American fighters and fight makers in as just appalling. I cannot ever imagine an American going to the U.K. and behaving like he did. The below comment really shows how murkowski is trying his best to control the damage that Hearn did to dazn:

“There is no resistance from Eddie on that,” Markowski adds. “And with all due respect to Eddie he doesn’t have a voice on that - it’s our business and not his.
“It’s another misconception that Eddie runs DAZN but Eddie is a supplier of content to DAZN, a very good one, but he doesn’t sit and make strategy decisions for DAZN Group.”

….that really speaks volumes. Murkowski just put Hearn on his place. They see what damage he did to dazn both in the usa and the U.K.
personally I like that this lad is reaching out to other boxing outfits. It would be great to see golden boy, pbc, and top rank all doing business on each others platforms. Great talk from murkowski but I do hope it’s not too late for dazn to recover and bring a positive medium to the sport.

Well, good job. You talked me into cancelling at the end of this year before mine renews. And I was one of the ones who liked DAZN, which doesn't bode well. This is like Netflix's price grab for passwords. Going to be cancelling them too, and if I want to watch something, I'll pop on for a month and binge it. Ditto for fights, which since it's mostly YouTubers these days, there won't be much of that needed.

You might want to check your email. I think the price hike is effective in March. My subscription runs out in May, but DAZN informed me that the price hike is effective March 18th.
