Same basic WW resume because Brook and Porter are the only WW fighters even worth mentioning for either. Brook was less than a year removed from being stopped at 160 pounds and Porter the respectable but perennial also ran, trial horse. Neither Crawford nor Spence have WW resumes worth bragging on.
there's no real difference no matter how you try to say otherwise. The big difference is that Crawford fights a little more often so has a few more mediocre fighters.

Spences best win by far is Danny Garcia.

You are right. Ennis should be proactive.
Exactly same way Kavaliauskas, Rocha, Broner and Ugas are in “going after” Crawford.
Crawford, the top guy at WW can just sit and wait for people to call him out or send him contracts. That’s how he got the Khan and Brook fights.
That’s how greatness is built. Sitting tight and waiting for Brandon Rios Calibre fighters.

Peterson would have destroyed Rocha, Mikey was a 4 division champion that Crawford managed to avoid in multiple divisions, and Garcia challenged Errol, and Spence gave him what he was looking for. Rocha wouldn't have even made it into the ring with Mikey, Garcia wouldn't have wanted to fight someone of that level.Rebelrbg likes this.

The logic you guys is hilarious. If Spence fought Rocha, it would be wrong and we’d call him out on it. The Thurman fight is wrong.
Crawford continues to fight mediocre guys is wrong. It has nothing to do with Spence.
Khan, Brook, Kavaliauskas, Rocha, Broner, Brandon Rios .. the list goes on.

Bud said that “Boots name never came across his desk”. Wow!
So, Bud knows the WW landscape and knows Boots is the guy everyone wants him to fight (he’s even said that himself) BUT because “Boots name never came up”, Bud elects to fight Avanesyan, Rocha and maybe Broner next because “Boots name never came up”!
This is incredible stuff to read. You are literally acknowledging what we say about him yet continue to defend him.
After he knocks out Rocha and Brandon Rios or Broner’s names come across his desk, that’ll the fight he takes because “Boots name never came up.”

Porter was the WBC champion and only had one loss to Thurman when Spence fought him. When Crawford fought them, they both were on their last lap before retirement. Spence fought the 3 current champions and took their straps, and former champions, there's no comparison.Last edited by Rebelrbg; 02-28-2023, 04:24 PM.
