Lopez hasn’t shown anything that Taylor should fear. His speed, power and explosiveness has been average and Taylor is an above average fighter with elite boxing skills.

Teofimo gets all the props in the world, outside of Matias this is the most dangerous fight at 140.

I don't anyone should underestimate Teo, but with 4 months to prepare I think Taylor has plenty of time to make 140 and not be weight drained. Should be a good fight. I would rather have seen Taylor/Prograis, or even Prograis/Lopez, but this one should be good.

I find it very difficult to favor Lopez vs any top fighter given his performances against Kambosos and Martin. I mean had Martin been given the official W, no one would be mentioning Lopez in any serious fight. Just goes to show the power of official verdicts.

When your next opponent is complimenting you and trying to sell you to the media, instead of bashing you, you the other dude has looked really bad.

Hard to beat Taylor when he's focused. Like in the Ramirez fight. He sees everything thrown at him. I believe he had so many distractions in the Catterall fight like camera people always following him around for kumbaya presentations.

Yes Lopez definitively has a serious chance.

Taylor may be overly struggling to make 140 pounds 'And from what I have gathered from interviews, Taylor aims to move up to 147 pounds at some point'.

Lopez I think will raise his game vs Taylor. The better the fighter he faces, the move he will raise his game.

The issues he was having at 135 pounds, are not going to be as prominent at 140 pounds 'Lopez lost his fight to Kambosos Junior, due to tanking'.

Lopez is not a badly condition fighter, but he was struggling vs Kambosos Junior.

At 147 Lopez may be facing stronger fighters than before, but I don't think Taylor is going to set a ballistic pace.

The action in this fight may be all about technical skills 'It may be like a Olympic fencing dual'.

Skill for skill who has the most game, from mid to long range.

This is a fraud title fight that all reasonable posters should denounce.
At the very least he should be forced to rematch Catteral.

based on the way Taylor looked vs Catterall Yes Teo beats maybe even stops that version of Taylor...however that might have been just a Off Night for Taylor and if that is the Case then Josh Schools him and the fight ends up looking something like Taylor vs Prograis in which Taylor was just too big and a bit more Skilled that Prograis. However in this Case, Taylor at his best is WAY MORE SKILLED than Teo

I can tell you right now, that 1 Punch at a time Adrien Broner sh^t will not work vs Taylor, he is going to have to really let his hands go to beat Taylor

GREAT FIGHT by the way credit to both for taking it

Taylor has has a long lay off. Reminds me of Lomachenko

Josh Taylor had a lackluster performance vs Caterall
