That was clearly the route to go if you’re a fan of boxeo.

They should have Berlanga fight Ryder. Eliminate one waste of time promptly

Berlanga needs to show change. He's got the one thing that can't really be taught, but he showed no growth over the last fights. Still loads up on punches, has terrible defense, and can't cut off the ring. He shouldn't be looking to fight Canelo, but rather learn from him. He's too arrogant to learn though, it seems.

Berlanga is going to be exposed within his next few fights. They are trying to build him up in NYC, but he needs to be matched carefully. I would like to see him fight Munguia at 168, or even GGG. Canelo beats him easily, early to mid round stoppage.

I seen the bum on the Conlan/Marriaga card. No thank you.

Eddie said he needs to beat top super middleweights to prove his self and McCrory ain't that

Hope to see how he handles dealing with the top guys in his division bc he hasn't looked impressive at all since he was presented with stiffer competition. Seems more interested in becoming a celebrity on the internet and flashing his possessions like a rapper than being an elite-level boxer.
Saying **** like this only divides us and is why O can’t stand alot of ya over there on the island. Just because we weren’t born there don’t make us different. Maybe in culture because of how we have to learn how to survive in the concrete jungle. I’m first generation. I speak, eat, dance, live and love my heritage. I acknowledge I ain’t “boricua” cuz ya make such a big deal out of it, but my people are my people, whether they’re in the slums of NY or Cabo Rojo where my family is from, we all one.

Back to the topic, Berlanga ain’t fooling none of us with this Canelo ****. He struggled against his last four opponents who I never even heard of. He ****ed up switching from Top Rank. They the best promotion company when it comes to grooming fighters and getting them ready for stardom. This dude is trying to take the elevator when he should be taking the stairs to fight the final boss. He just trying to make a quick buck, he ain’t looking for legacy. Xander Zayas was on his undercards and they had to pull him away cuz he was outperforming Berlanga. Zayas is the Cotto replacement if you ask me

I agree with alot of what you say here. Never said Nuyoricans ain't Bori my man. Just said they're Americanized and don't conduct themselves the way people from the island do. At least most that I've come across. I'm just basing it off of my experience with my fam from the island and my fam from NY and my experiences with the PR descendants from up there. The level of humility ain't the same. The struggle is real as hell in PR too and if anything worse. But then they all get lumped together like all people from PR are like PR folks from NY and that ain't true. But to boxing, I agree on everything you said about Berlanga and Zayas. Look at the difference in the way guys like Berlanga and even guys like that Vargas kid(Nuyoricans) conduct themselves to guys like Zayas(PR-born) tho. Hence why the divide will always be there. Berlanga's lack of humility in believing he's bigger than what he really is why he hasn't progressed at all and doesn't have the support that he probably should have. Time will show and tell the truth.

We’ll see his first opponent when it’s announced and I guarantee you it’s a worse fight than Berlanga-McCrory. I expect Vaughn Alexander or Kieron Conway. McCrory is definitely top 15-20 in the division.

Nobody wants to see Berlanga vs top 20 guys. It's time for the top 10.

But it's Eddie Hearn, so well get Berlanga vs a euro bum
