Eddie should know that beating a couple Pavel Stepiens does not a Canelo opponent make. Let's see Berlanga in some good fights - McCrory would be a nice start. Got an awful feeling we'll be seeing him in with career light middleweight (newly super middle) Kieran Conway though. "Ammo couldn't stop him ..."

They needa stop addressing this guy as Puerto Rican. He is of PR descent from NY. Nuyoricans are far different than real PR folks from the island in the way they conduct themselves. Hope to see how he handles dealing with the top guys in his division bc he hasn't looked impressive at all since he was presented with stiffer competition. Seems more interested in becoming a celebrity on the internet and flashing his possessions like a rapper than being an elite-level boxer.

Which means that Berlanga's going to have to take more chance's in his future fight's to win in spectacular fashion.
Can he do that? I don't know! What I do know is that he wiped the floor with Nicholson, damaged Coceres' eye, struggled with Angulo,
and looked ineffective against Rolls.
Those are damn good wins against 4 winning fighter's with a combined record of 101-8 (71 KO's),
I hope that he's taken his suspension, and extended self imposed time away from the ring, to perfect his overall boxing skill's.
He's not the monster he thinks he is, but he's not the bum that his detractor's think he is either, his next couple of fight's will lean the scale one way or the other.The verdict is still out whether it's greatness or the gutter that await's him, I'm rooting for a positive outcome, and a showdown against Canelo after 2-3 more wins.
