No chance in hell it’ll be Wilder mate.
It might not be Usyk sadly though and it’s on Fury if that fight falls through.
Not sure why Fury couldn’t agree a deal with the Saudi’s. That’s what prevented it from getting agreed weeks ago as Usyk had sorted out his end of the deal.
For it to happen over here both fighters are going to have to take a pay cut, they’d still earn crazy money, but I’m not too optimistic they’ll be willing to.

Mayweather playbook?
Floyd never fought the same person 4 times, let alone 3
How many champions has Fury fought in a row??Comment

IDK... I rather like the sound of Fury vs 50 Youtubers.
We'll know when we know. Fingers Xd it comes together but it's boxing and we seen this bullchit happen 100 times before. I barely even get pissed off with it any more just enjoy the good fights that do come along.Comment

I thought the Saudi thing fell through because it was meant to be in new stadium in Jeddah and now the Saudis can’t confirm when the stadium will be finished, especially with Ramadan coming up, which left all parties were not wanting to wait around for some vague date. That’s why they booked Wembley

considering the money available in Saudi, I think they would still be pushing to get the fight there if it was possible. So it seems like it’s off the table for whatever reason, but I did hear is was down to them not being able to give a concrete date, not because of anyone’s deal.
But that could mean this fight isn’t next. Maybe they think the Usyk fight should still happen in the Middle East, so are willing to push it back until this stadium is done and fight someone else in meantime. I really hope not.
This fight needs to happen next, I’ve no interest in seeing them fight anyone but each other.Last edited by deathofaclown; 02-14-2023, 06:45 PM.Comment

I mean all the messing around with negotiations and all the A side B side stuff.
I'm convinced that this fight won't happen now. Fury won't do 50/50 in a million years and Usyk and his team are too proud to have their pants pulled down.

Not so. That Frank Warren quote I linked is from August 2022, before the Saudis or anybody else had even bid for the fight. I remember listening to an interview with Warren around that time, maybe the same interview that quote came from. What he said was that the date and location hadn't been set, but the most important part of any negotiations, which was the money, had already been settled, with both men agreeing to a 50/50 split.
I looked at some of the comments in that twitter thread, btw. A lot of jokers talking crap about how quick and easy it is to make an undisputed HW title fight when Eddie Hearn isn't involved.
What do you think about that, mate? They've only been negotiating 7 months and they're already expecting an important announcement in the next few days ... maybe, fingers crossed ...

There was a guy who was an even bigger Joshua stan. He always called him "Josh" like they were best mates. He literally stopped posting here completely unlike Robbie. That or maybe he just got banned. I can't even remember his username but he was a massive tool. Had a Mike Ehrmantraut/Jonothan Banks avatar if I recall correctly. Wait I remember now it was ****'Em or something like that
At least Robbie Barrett had the decency to quit NSB when his hero got exposed, Juggernutter still posts on here like he's some boxing guru

I'm with the OP. it's got to be Usyk next, or to hell with Fury. He says he doesn't care about money, that he's fighting for the fans, etc, time to prove it. Like Frank Warren said in his interview today, Fury vs Usyk is the fight that everybody, everybody wants to see. Let's hope the Gypsy King doesn't let us down.Comment
