Both Charlo brothers are damn good fighters and I can’t remember the last brother combo since Joan Manuel and Rafael that have done what they have done, but the inactivity has destroyed their legacies and any hopes of being relevant in an ATG discussion.

That’s a good question for boxing media to ask Mauricio Sulaiman.

But they won’t. Too meek or sold out to ask the tough questions these days.

WBC was duped into thinking Charlo/Canelo unification will eventually happen. Sulaiman obviously didn't object to the idea, which Charlo took advantage of by avoiding virtually any fight for fear of losing. But now the Canelo fight is far from happening, he seems to have no idea where to go from here... Strange part was it was offered some 2 years or so ago and turned it down, which was confirmed by his own twin brother. So you can pretty much conclude he has this dilly dallying behavior and don't know what to do.

No one is forcing him to expose himself to any smoke if he thinks he will get suffocated. He can choose to stay away from smoke as much as he wants to, but he needs to give up the belt and let others have a chance to fight for it.

The media needs to pepper Sulaiman questions about this case. Otherwise, the belt should be treated as garbage or be made irrelevant.

That's a very logical, caring solution. Or retire and stop thinking about boxing altogether.

I could sense this would easily reach the 2 years, 730 days mark and beyond.

Is it possible he's serving a secret drug ban? We know he missed tests in the past and the UK like to give cheats their confidentiality, maybe one of the US commissions does the same? WBC would probably keep him as champ, they'd accept any excuse like they did with Benn.
