For those who believe Bivol is the guy pushing for the rematch to take place at 168.

Ok, so you don't understand the meaning of the word "evidence". Got it. We're all done here.

A history of Canelo altering weight stipulations isn’t evidence?

You clearly lack common sense or are just another one of Canelo fanboys. The rematch will be on Canelo’s terms, we all know it.

Tell us how Canelo is innocent despite testing positive for a banned substance? Was that Bivol’s idea as well?
Canelo is the A-side and will make the final decision.

But he has not been pushing for 168 and you have zero evidence to prove otherwise. Whereas we have Bivol’s actual words, as well as those of Eddie Hearn.

That’s literally my point. This fight will happen on Canelo’s terms, if it happens at 168 it’s because Canelo wants it at 168.

Maybe pushing wasn’t the right lexical choice, but the rematch being at 168 is to accommodate Canelo not Bivol.

You were claiming that Canelo is pushing for 168. There is zero evidence of that.

But yes, Canelo will ultimately call the shots in the end. No one disputes that he is the A-side.

If the fight’s happening at 168 then Canelo is pushing for it. As I said maybe “pushing” wasn’t the correct linguistic choice but the point is: the fight being at 168 is because it benefits Canelo not Bivol. Canelo is the reason this fight happens at 168 nobody else.

You’re just desperate to defend Canelo, another poster already exposed that. You also laughably defended his failed drugs test, that speaks volumes about your bias and agenda.

You’re saying that Canelo is pushing for it…then in the very next sentence admitting that “pushing it” isn’t the correct term. You know you’re in the wrong.

The clenbuterol thing is what it is, the levels found in his system were consistent with eating tainted meat. Entire sports teams have tested positive for clen while in Mexico so obviously it was a real issue and not just a made up excuse.

Canelo has altered weight stipulations SEVEN times in his career, you really think the fight being at 168 isn’t because of him? Get real.

Nearly every dirty fighter in history uses the contamination excuse. It’s your responsibility what goes into your body, there are no excuses when you test positive. You have to be incredibly gullible to believe it was contamination though.

You’re just exposing yourself as a bias fanboy.

Again, you have zero proof that Canelo wants this fight at 168. In fact Eddie Hearn has even said that Canelo prefers to rematch Bivol at 175. If you want to insist otherwise then it’s on you to provide actual evidence. Previous history and assumptions are not evidence.

I don’t care what excuses other fighters make. The explanation given by Canelo for testing positive is plausible because clenbuterol use in Mexican cattle is real and widespread, and the amounts found in his system were consistent with having eaten tainted meat. If you can’t acknowledge that then you aren’t giving him a fair shake and it is you that is biased.
