This is why I seriously doubt Canelo wants the rematch at 168. He risks losing everything, and would have nothing to gain aside from avenging his first loss. Doesn't really add to his legacy at all. Only Bivol would have something to gain. I think the rematch happens at 175 or, more likely, not at all.

canelo would back himself at 168 beating bivol i think, its a much safer fight for him, he has no shot at 175 so i cant see him wanting that fight

We’re never going to see Bivol take on Beterbiev. Arum will see to that. May as well whip Canelo’s ass again and take his belts.

The fight will be at 168. Bet that

going to 168 for belts is tough, staying at 175 for belts could well be tough too but unless the money at 168 is epic then stay at 175 i would say

His stock value has already taken a dive the way he was embarrassed in their fight ... Bivol just put him to shame in EVERY aspect ...

Well Beterbiev and Bivol ain't happening, Beterbeiv had the perfect opportunity to fight Bivol back in early 19 after signing with DAZN and they've both made a defence in a month of each other but he decided to go TR and Arum has been making disparaging comments about Bivol throwing more doubt on it ever happening.

So might as well give cinnamon a chance to rob you for millions eh... better than living on a pray for undisputed or fighting some random shítter Eddie wants to put in front of you like Buatsi.

Nah Bivol needs to take care of business first with Beterbiev if he doesn’t get the rematch with Alvarez at 175. Him going down in weight might not go well for him and by the time he ends up fighting Beterbiev he’ll be damaged goods. Unify 175 and after that go down to 168 see how that goes
