He really wasn't making major money until later in his career, although he had all the accolades. He even stopped fighting for a while because Don King wanted him to fight for 6 million when he asked for 8, and King was going to receive 4 million from the 6 he offered.

Well He had Andy Ruiz and couldn’t explode him or get him huge fights and make him known. The biggest fight he got him was Joseph Parker at Parker hometown. Al Haymon came and exploded Ruiz and made him world champion and world known. Arum had Terrence Crawford and nobody even knew who Crawford was outside of boxing. The list goes in and on, that’s why De la Hoya, Mayweather, etc leave him.

And? Anyone can be dissected, there isn’t 1 promoter that has built more stars than Arum and top rank and they are still going strong till this day! I’d argue Arum is the best promoter of all time… matter fact now that I think about it, it’s not even close!
