I wouldn't take less than 50% if I was Usyk.

What a great idea, just make each fighter a confidential offer. Would remove the whole split nonsense. Too often fighters are bickering about the split, as if its not important how much money you get as long as it's more than the competitor got.
Pity this can't happen most of the time as the pot of money usually has little wiggle room, unlike the Saudi money.Comment

Boxing purists will say Usyk deserves 50-50 based on his accolades and what hes achieved in boxing... logically hes earnt that, unfortunately boxing purses, splits dont work on achievements rather ability to sell, Fury vs Chisora probably done more then usyk defending his titles against one of his mandatories would do. Fury is a cash cow. Lets hope Fury lets it be and accepts, think he will happily accept if that oil money comes in.Comment

Biggest heavyweight fight in decades and we're going to squabble over nonsense to prevent it from happening? If Fury was willing to give loser AJ 60/40 then surely the actual champ with all those belts deserves at least that.Comment

Fury is the actual champ btw. Usyk's just a belt holder.Comment

B-Hop only accepted that because it was his biggest payday for his career. He was used to getting shxt on by the promoters ever since coming out of prison. He really wasn't making major money until later in his career, although he had all the accolades. He even stopped fighting for a while because Don King wanted him to fight for 6 million when he asked for 8, and King was going to receive 4 million from the 6 he offered.Comment

Usually I would side with the guy with 3 belts, and not the guy with 1 belt, but in this case, we all know that Fury is the draw! Fury is bigger than life! He's the Muhammad Ali of our time! Usyk should be cool with 40%, because that 40% fighting Fury, is more than 65% fighting anyone else.Comment
