Bozy is in 100% damage control mode
Funny how most of us didn’t quite see it that way
    Try again Bozy

I can't say that Crawford beats Boots because the moment Ennis lands a shot, Bud is going to try to get his lick back, as he always does, and that's when the fight breaks out.

Boots is saying all the right stuff, get back in the gym and work on cutting the ring off and properly placing shots, no haymakers.
Agreed. Young man is highly gifted and smart enough to accept that he has things he still needs to work on. As most posters here stated, cutting off the ring is one of them. He was definitely frustrated with all the lunging he was doing tryna get at buddy. Credit to Chukhadzhian tho and his elite footwork making it tough for Ennis to pin him down. Competition is only gonna get stiffer for Ennis from here.

Not saying TC beats Boots since we haven't seen how Boots fights under pressure or against someone as skilled.
It's Crawfords experience that would get him over the line in a tough fight with any fighter, at this present time he is a the top of his game, credit were credit is due, he's elite

It would not have been an issue if that was Butaev, Kavaliauskas, Crowley, even Barrios, instead of Karen, who you chose to pick.

Yes there is something that you can do.

You can shut up, and take the win, and show some humility and class, or end up like 'Speedy Rashidi Ellis' and see your 'OH' go up in a puff of smoke, from talking and acting like your son is like the next best thing to 'Velveeta Cheese'.

Get the kid back in the gym, work on his foot-work and bring some one in if necessary, to work on his 'humility, class, and character', if you're not up to it.

There is such a thing as 'other elite fighters' then Boots, and sheet happens.

Learn to cut off the ring.

There's obviously still room for development in Boots. Can't rush him into the Hall of Fame just based on the "eye test."

This fight was actually closer in my opinion than people are acknowledging. I didn’t see running. I saw Karen switching directions. Popping in and out. And countering effectively. He may have lost 10 or 12 rounds but he should’ve got beat up or stopped.

Boots has close to 30 fights and the first fighter that chooses to stick and move he realizes he can’t apply the fundamentals. Those include; cutting the ring off, feints, double jabs, setting traps.

Karen did well in taking the single jab away and maintaining distance, however, a fighter of Boots caliber is supposed to know how to respond to that. Karen also knew how to take a power punchers power away…keep him off balanced and give angles.

Maybe it was an off night and maybe it was the pressure he put on himself to get the KO.

Get back in the gym and work on gameplans and strategies. I hate that everyone is taking the Mayweather line of not preparing or watching film. That’s nonsense. At an elite level you better gameplan!

Okay so when Skakur, Floyd, Sweet pea fights like that it's called running, chicken shyte and scared to engage. But when SOMEONE LIKE this Jaren dude fights the same exact way we say ....he's elusive, elite footwork, he's very mobile and did strategic engagement. This guy came in with a plan to just run around the ring all night and somehow you guys called it "taking away Boot's jab" hahahahaha yea there's no double standard in boxing at all. MY GOODNESS!!
