He needs to face Karen again.....fighters don't grow if they run from their adversity and graduate to that other level...

Like others said, he needs to take 2 more fights this year, realistically speaking. Forget Spence.

Ugas is the new gatekeeper. He's older and flat foot. Never been an elite fighter, but good enough to challenge anyone in the division. It would give us a legit view of how good Ennis is, because he's not going to dance away from him like Karen did....and if he hits him with the same combinations that Karen landed, Ennis is going to really feel it.
Cobbs was already knocked out cold by Rocha. He's not going to be humbled, it's his gimmick and won't (nor should it) change. It's a waste of him. Cobbs should fight Ellis.

Ennis should fight Ugas because Ugas will throw back AND he'll stand right in front of you. He SHOULD be tailor made for Boots - but if Ugas takes Boots the distance too, we'll know Boot's weakness is pure boxers.

This would be way better to discuss face to face or at least with audio. Way too many points to address via text and I don't think either one of us has the time/energy to address each point.

I don't know why you think I'm looking for attention, I just thought you were being overly critical to Ennis, based on the thread and other posts I saw. Maybe I'm wrong, it doesn't really matter to me, I happened to reply to your post and that's that.

I would ask you what made you think I wanted to argue but since this conversarion is obviously going nowhere it may not even be worth it.

The new haterade is brewing! The kegs will be out for preorder! The flavor is Boots! A fighter who obviously is a major threat to anyone in the division, yet despite this apparently "isn't really trying to get fights" because lord knows, professional fighters are cowards who do not want to test themselves... right?

And because he put in some rounds with a crafty fighter, who did a great job surviving btw, Boots was exposed! lol... such ******ity.

It would be pointless. No one wants to see it and I'm sure Ennis isn't trying to make him a rival. So, I'd say just move on from that fight.

Yea waiting on Spence you'll get maybe one fight if that.... Look at the Crawford situation. A year ago Crawford stated that he wanted to fight 3x in 2022. Spence twice and the winner of the Charlo/Castano bout.....Fast forward to October, he's still negotiating his first fight with Spence and decides to take on another opponent.

You may be right about Cobbs being humbled.....lol.

Honestly, I think Boots needs to fight Thurman. I think that is the fight that will market him to a point he can make specific demands if he is to come out on top. Or at least have a great showing.

You may be right.... this is a boxing conversation I'm use to having in person with individuals or at least in audio..... Not worth a headache of argument.
