Ellis has no one to blame but himself was in total control early in the fight then played it safe letting Villa back into the fight. Has no one to blame for his career just some really bad advice, whoever in his camp that told him it was a good idea turning down big fights hoping to back into bigger payday SMH

I can understand business decisions. Sometimes they pay off, other times they don't. But I'm not a boxing businessman, I'm a boxing fan.

Perhaps the silver lining here is that other prospects and their managers (and boxers in general) will learn from Ellis' dark cloud and we'll see more sport and less business.

I understand the technicalities of scoring, but they won't do Rashidi any favors if they let him win like this. They'll just put him in with somebody better after this guy scrambled his brains. He might have outscored Villa, but he didn't win the fight.

All that smack that Ellis talked, and then he get's beat by Villa.

I thought Ellis won even with the two knockdowns but not mad as it was close. Great fight for both.

Wouldn’t blame the trainer on this one. I heard him after the the 9th or 10th don’t get careless and let him win the fight Ellis cost himself this fight

This fight was bullshit! The judges got it all wrong. Can someone name me at least six rounds that Roiman Villa definitively won because I can't.

I could only give him three. Perhaps even four if I'm being generous. Even without the two knockdowns the three judges would have scored the fight a Draw. What the Hell?

This fight was highway robbery at its worst. i scored it 115-111 for Rashidi Ellis.

"At The End Of The Day", Roiman "Eye Test Killa" Villa got his hand raised after so many of you fell for the 'eye test'. Just like with Bocachica.

That's why the 'eye test' is BS.

Would someone please stop this narrative that the referee stopped Ellis from being stopped. He was tired yes but was never out on his feet or concussed. Even with that sweeping left hook knockdown by Villa he still jumped right up. Villa lost that fight. He started too late and even his handlers knew it. The three judges awarded him a gift decision.
