Why does Loma get more credit for winning a UD over Campbell (Gold medal winner) than Tank does for stopping Gamboa (Gold medal winner)?

Why does Loma get more credit for winning a UD over Campbell (Gold medal winner) than Tank does for stopping Gamboa (Gold medal winner)?

Campbell was 20-2 when Loma beat him. Gamboa was 30-2 when Tank knocked him out.

    Make it make sense?

When Tank KO'd Pedraza, they called him overrated and said he needs to fight someone. When Loma UD'd Pedraza while looking like he was in a car accident, these same people praised Loma.

    Make it make sense

When Loma stopped the little guy, Rigo (who moved up in weight), Loma was praised as the next coming.

When Tank KO'd Leo, who is a future HOF'er, who moved up in weight, 95% of the forum hated him.

      LSC is a future HOF'er, Rigo isn't.

Who said Loma is getting more credit? I agree the Loma hype-train was disgusting. He can scrap but Arum really spread it thick. Also as noted the Gamboa injury coupled with his “buy before” date plays a huge role. I guess they will simply need to get it on to find out who gets “credit”.

Because Gamboa was teo division over his own, past his prime and old.

well, we know you want to play the race card

Gamboa was ~13 years older than Davis, past his prime, smaller guy who had lots of injuries. Tank was expected to win the fight comfortably
Loma vs Luke fight was much more competitive due to both in prime, Loma is smaller guy on every record with 3 or 4 fight in this weight, which we all know he is strangling due to obvious reasons.

If you wanted to trash Loma you should have picked Rigo fight, where Rigo was older and weighted 5-6 pounds less(had reach advantage btw). But no one is giving Loma much props for wining it due to Rigo moving to 130, though I would say Loma never used his weight to win it, and outmaneuvered rigo till no mas
