Looking at Josh resume, he probably isn't coward. Once he beats wilder he will be even lesser a coward! Once he bravely loses to fury he will be seen as a warrior

He wasn't being offered a split and Joshua wasn't obligated to fight him so didn't need to negotiate. He got offered a flat fee - pretty reasonable for a guy who was only bringing a belt to the table.

I can see why he backed himself and turned it down, but it was multiples of his typical earnings. That's not a low ball.

As already explained, a $12 million flat fee for a fight worth $100 million is an 88/12 split of the value of the fight. A completely ridiculous offer designed to kill the fight. You're right that Joshua wasn't obligated to fight. Joshua was within his rights to duck Wilder, but don't kid yourself, ducking Wilder is exactly what Joshua did.

Fury vs Usyk is a 50/50 split even though one has one belt and one has three. To claim that Joshua vs Wilder should be 88/12 because Wilder only has one belt is lunacy. It's undefeated vs undefeated for the undisputed championship and Wilder was the one bringing the US market to the table. Not to mention Wilder had the WBC belt, which is by far the most valuable.

This is a lie. Wilder made $12 million in the first Ortiz fight.

It's clear as day AJ's team never wanted the Wilder fight.

Fury took advantage of that situation, took the WBC, and now he's reaping the rewards for it.

Fury is superior to AJ in every aspect. As a businessman, as a fighter, as an entertainer. He easily destroys both Usyk and AJ.

Not a coward but he's certainly not what he and many thought he was. Myself included.

Apparently Wilder accepted a slightly higher offer so it obviously wasn't a bad starting place for negotiations.

Wilder eventually called Joshua's bluff and accepted $15 million to prove Joshua was ducking and wouldn't actually fight him. Of course Joshua ducked him and didn't actually fight him.

Over and over Joshua was exposed as the one ducking. Hearn just figured he had enough UK fans brainwashed that he'd be able to convince them somehow Wilder was at fault.

Fury has beaten big names. The WBC belt is worth more when it's taken from Wilder than when it's taken from Stiverne. Fury is number one. Wilder didn't bring any of that... just the belt.

And no, a split is only a split when it's a split.

A flat fee isn't a split. That isn't difficult to comprehend. Doesn't matter what the fight is worth - it was Joshua making an offer.

Negotiating a split is what should have happened after the offers. But from what I could see it wasn't happening. Joshua made offers. Finkel complained that they were being mistreated.

And don't give me the 50M Instagram nonsense.

$12M in the first Ortiz fight? I recall it being more like $2M and was comfortably his biggest payday at that point.
