Well, it's not really the end of the world for Jaron Boots. It's never too late, in other words. Like others have projected, Ennis will complete his showcase fight with Karen in just about less than a month from now. Meaning, he and Crawford will be available for a serious talk on their next fights. WBO might even order the fight now that Ortiz's #1 spot is out of the way.

I expect Jaron Boots to be more proactive next year and do whatever is necessary to enforce what he's entitled to and not just whine and cry. I mean look at Vergil Ortiz Jr. He petitioned WBA for his spot on Stanionis' belt last September. I don't know what the delay was all about, but he finally got what he want, secure a fight with Stanionis.

We can't emphasize enough about Jaron "Boots" Ennis' situation. He's got 30 fights on his record with not a single fight of note. If you say Dulorme, Lipinets, Clayton are step up fights, you'd be seriously laughed at. Try incorporating those guys with Crawford or anyone you dislike and you'd give up mentioning that nonsense. Try that with Thurman, or Vergil Ortiz Jr, etc.

30 fights is no joke. Stanionis only got 15 and Ortiz is only in his 20th fight. And these guys are already fighting for titles. What happened? Where is the sense of urgency for Ennis?

He has had 30 fights, it's his responsibility to be ambitious!

Both fighters are with major promotional companies. Boots on the other hand is with D&D boxing that so happens to fight on Showtime. Think of a showbox card with fighters. He'll always get the crumbs not the full meal. I think it's a joke Arum or Hearn ain't signed this guy for a long term deal.

Titles that are attached to Crawford and Spence? Boots is way better and above Avanesyan, Khan and Brook so which titles has he “never” fought for when the two title holders don’t want to fight him?

What if Boots fought Avanesyan or Brook or Khan?

Which titles are these guys fighting for? Crawford’s been busy with Khan, Brook and Avanesyan.
Spence’s last three fights were unifications and of course Bud specifically picked Avanesyan while Boots’ been available.

I know it has to be very frustrating for Jaron Ennis. He is chasing titleholders and greatness but they don't want to fight him. Hopefully, next year once Crawford and Spence vacate the division; He will be fighting the Stanionis', "Green machine's, Butaev's and the Vergil Ortiz' of the division and hopefully it would be for all the major title belts.

Then why is that so? I'll answer it for you. It's because he's being avoided. He's too high risk and low reward. Neither Spence or Crawford have anything to prove or gain by fighting a young hungry lion like Jaron 'Boots' Ennis. They would have everything to lose. They both would rather square off with each other rather than fighting Boots and I can't blame them.
