David Haye was/is a joke. I tried to ride with him all throughout his campaign to fight Klitschko.....and once they got in the ring, was a huge disappointment. I have to disagree with his self assessment on being successful against any legit heavyweight.

David Haye at his peak is a better fighter than Usyk.

More power, better defense, equal speed if not faster and physically stronger.

People mock Haye for his performance vs Kiltschko.

But? Only Fury and Haye, were the two fighters to actually consistently make Wladimir Kiltschko miss with his punches.

Haye actually fought a more offensive fight than Fury vs Kiltschko 'And this was a peak Wladimir Kiltschko'.

I think regardless of all the hype and trash talk, it was a good effort from Haye.

He went in there with a genuine all time great super heavyweight, and was just edged in the rounds.

I just think Haye would show Usyk, speed and power that he has never experienced before.

Haye pretty much the only Heavyweight to fight Chisora head on and cancel out his momentum.

Not even Tyson Fury in their third fight wanted to fight Chisora head on, his agreement he had with Chisora pre fight? Tyson Fury did not adhere to.

David Haye's performance vs Derek Chisora is stylistically and physically the most impressive win over Chisora. Haye was being out weighed by close to 30 pounds, but still opted to meet Chisora head on and cancel out his momentum.

Usyk had not answer for Chisora's inside game when they fought. It was only when Chisora began to fatigued, was he then after to create distance and box from mid-long range etc.

At his peak, skill for skill and physically I think David Haye is a better than Usyk. He is not going to be struggling from range vs Usyk, Haye is always going to be launching threatening attacks.

Haye won about 2 rounds vs Wlad. No way was he 'just edged'. Ibragimov almost stopped Wlad from landing big shots and also won 2 rounds.

Haye gets no credit for fighting offensively, he ran from Wlad all night willingly giving up rounds, Fury ran while landing enough to actually win. Huge difference. Haye also ran all night vs Valuev and arguably lost, his performance was a lot less impressive than Chagaev. It was even less impressive than 80 year old Holyfield, who won more rounds vs Valuev than Haye did but got robbed.

Haye doesn’t win one second of that fight. Usyk comfortably outboxes him and likely stops him late.

Haye’s “peak” was going life and death with Mormeck.

I would favour Haye to stop him. Usyk isn't unhittable. He struggled with Chisora and boxed well against Joshua. Not enough for me to favour him against an explosive hard hitter.

Haye does not have better defense lol. Only thing Haye is better at is conning the public out of millions of dollars.

My money would be on Usyk. He's the better, smarter boxer. Haye would be dangerous though. Had real power and athleticism.

Usyk gets battered and busted up real good in 99.9% of his fights. His defense is overrated.

Haye at his peak or even just outside was very rarely battered bruised badly.

There are plenty of pictures out there of Usyk busted up real bad. He was a battered vs Joshua & Chisora.

Unfortunately for David other people will judge and I think most would pick Usyk. He might be a little biased
what with it being about himself. bux
