Boxing needs this fight to happen as it will easily be the talk of modern boxing history even bigger than the hype for DLH vs Floyd. Split should be 50/50 and if both fighters wont make this fight happen because of their purse bull**** then both are Fools!!!

Co-sign. Both fighters have a chance to be a part of something greater than themselves. If they use not wanting to make about 15-20 million each as an excuse for it not to happen, and instead fight other fights for about 10 million, then neither fighter really deserves the type of praise and recognition that would come with winning such a fight as this. F*uck who's ducking who, I dont believe either fighter is ducking the other. If this fight doesn't get made because of ego and money, then both fighters are ducking the moment and greatness.

Freddy needs to worry about Cotto before he even starts thinking about Floyd.

Let him let their guard down! They will soon find out how they messed-up. By the time all is said and done it will be Cotto and Mosley fighting for lb4lb supremacy after they beat Manny and Floyd. That is if Floyd mans up and fights Mosley which I think is asking a lot from Floyd "*****" Mayweather. Also, Roach is just the trainer not the manager, damn!

If Mayweather decides to wait for Pacquiao and Pacquiao knocks out my boy, the total purse will probably be around $75-$80 million. How would either fighter turn down 50/50 at that point? If you're that greedy, you don't deserve the fight anyway.

Fortunately for Pacquiao, his marketability isn't about not having a loss.


Pacquiao has already lost, and they don't build his marketability on never tasting defeat, unlike some other fighters.

His marketability is built around his humble persona, and his fight style.


Floyd's marketability is based on his unblemished record, and his big mouth. When Floyd loses (if he ever does, considering he carefully picks his opponents to avoid this)...his whole mystique will be gone.

A great fighter indeed, but never dared to be great by taking the risks necessary.
