and Roys going on his 4th fight in 12 months... the most active he has ever been in his career.

Yet has wins over all of Jones' conquerors.. NEXT!

This is what I'm talking about, even after an excellent post 40 showing.. no respect. I kind of do want this fight to happen now.

Bernard will be 45 with a 17 month layoff...
I dont think it will be a massacre or embarrassment.
        Hopkins wide UD but competitive.

i'd have to say this is very true...calzaghe would have laid a bigger beating on hopkins had it not been for nard's clinching...he clinched more than he threw punches

I don't disrespect Bernard at all.. never... hes a legend and hes right next to Roy on the ATG list.

But beating Roys conquerers doesnt prove you can beat Roy.... Look at Mosley, who smashed Marg, who smashed Cotto... but yet Mosley still cant beat Cotto because of the style.

Again.... bernard maybe a more effective fighter at this stage than Roy...

But Ill take 4fights in 12 months over a 17 month inactive 45yr old.

The only thing that makes sense about this fight is the 50-50 split agreement with the incentive "If the fight ends in a knockout, the winner receives 60%, with the loser getting 40%."

I think boxing would get a boost if more big fights were negotiated in this way. Fighters would have a higher incentive to win the fight by KO.

It would bring much more excitement to the sport.

What sane man do you know is going to sit and let another man beat on him? Be mad at Joe for not figuring that **** out. You see Floyd letting Hatton off the hook for that bs?

Roy just confirmed what bernard said about the terms, Roy said everything sounds great as long as they dont try to sneak in that "after GBP takes 20% off the top" Bull****.... and that since they are talking about a February date, Roys going to keep active and fight Danny Green in December, and then they can fight in February...

truly uninterested in this fight at this piont in their careers. i wish maybe this happen 3-4 yrs ago. Now not so much. but if i gotta pick i'd say b-hop by wide decision. the man knows how to fight and how to get the win by any means.
