Thanks REED.Roy just confirmed what bernard said about the terms, Roy said everything sounds great as long as they dont try to sneak in that "after GBP takes 20% off the top" Bull****.... and that since they are talking about a February date, Roys going to keep active and fight Danny Green in December, and then they can fight in February...Comment

Just realised, Roy's going to have to lose a lot of weight for this one considering he is fighting Danny Green at Cruiserweight not too long before. We all know what happened last time he did that.
Edit: Unless Bernard is moving up to Cruiserweight?Comment

No, hes not going to the CW limit, he already stated... hes staying light, he will weigh in around 180-185.Comment

who cares if he beat tarver and johnson...johnson was absolutely nobody until he ko'd a shot roy jones, and tarver just got finished hanging out with sly stallone...
like i said, hopkins was nobody until he beat a two divisions smaller trinidad and de la hoya...he lost to fighters his size with equal talent in jermaine taylor (green) and calzaghe, and is THE most overrated fighter of this generation...
it's more exciting to watch jones get ko'd than to watch hopkins clinch, headbutt, and lowblow his way to another boring decision...let him fight jones, then we may be closer to somebody finally giving him the career ending beatdown....long overdue in my book...Comment

This fight will be a good payday for Hopkins and Jones to retire on. I think the PPV will do very well.Comment

Roy won't give it up, sadly. I guess I can see why he doesn't - his legacy is pretty secure and he'll be a decided underdog. I just hope it's regular HBO because I'm not shelling out for him to take 30 seconds to decide whether he wants to throw a punch or not.Comment
