Well, one thing this would do for Hop's legacy, is show that it ain't just fast hands that beat him. Even with most of Roy's attributes gone and after suffering embarrassing losses, people here are still picking Jones over Hop because of the fight in '93 and not anything recently significant.

It's a bit of a slap to his face. Here he his busting his ass beating the big names at over 40, and he can't even get the benefit of the doubt in a fantasy return match by many even though Jones had the biggest slide in the sport atm!
Nobody is picking Roy to win, because he did 15 years ago.

Well only a few weeks ago Nard said almost the exact same thing" Why fight a shell of Roy Jones who was pimp slapped by Joe Calzaghe"
They both look like they want to feast on shot Roy to me as they know its an easy payday.
Well, look at how many people actually clowned Hopkins for that radio interview and honestly believe he couldn't beat Roy even now. That really is enough incentive to take the fight. Hopkins accomplishments are taken so lightly, even a near shot version of Jones is still favored to take him.

Yes they are. A lot of people here have sided with Roy just because he beat Hop already. C'mon Reed.

I think thats crazy,Hopkins will win a wide UD IMO.
Its easy looking good against the awful Jeff lacy but Nard is coming off a close fight with Calzaghe and a beatdown of Pavlik.
              Easy prediction for me.

I think Bernard knows that this is the biggest payday with the least risk.

Be it, PPV or w/e, I'm not interested. Watch Roy get badly beaten, this does nothing for B-Hop's career.

If someone picks Roy over BHop right now it's because of styles and the speed difference... not because he beat him 15 years ago.

You know, this fight could turn out like Leonard-Hearns 2. Where both men had faded enough so that the fight was very interesting but, given their stlyes and all, this is highly unlikely.
