*Takes a sip of water, lets out a joyous sigh*

Hopkins won. Landed all the meaningful punches in that fight. Joe couldn't stop the clinching... that's on him. Shows he ain't too bright.

No one clearly won that fight Sam. You can have Calzaghe winning, but to say Hopkisn couldn'rt have won, or lost clearly is wrong. If you scored on aggression and work rate, then Calzaghe won. If you scored on percesion, damage, efficiency then Hopkins could have won. I was in ****ing England when that fight happened and I was with a friend who is a huge Calzaghe fan, and even he thought he lost based on the latter criteria.

Calzaghe got him tired after the 10th, ok, but did Calzaghe land punches? I never knew you got points for having a tired opponent. What are the accounts other than workrate, and aggression?

Can you honestly say that Calzaghe wasn't clinching either? Calzaghe was more than happy to clinch man. Also clinches don't lose fights, or lose you points. There was athread here after Hopkisn Winky whch counted a similar number of clinches.

Two punches per round would be more than the zero punches a round Taylor landed. Thus giving Hopkins the round.
