There’s a definite bias and lack of consistency with this ruling though.

Errol Spence is IBF welterweight champion, his last mandatory was June 2018. Ennis won an eliminator in May 2022, the mandatory wasn’t and still hasn’t been called.

Usyk has only been champion for a year and Hrgovic only won an eliminator in August 2022 yet this mandatory is being called with no exemptions.

    This decision absolutely stinks.
You make a very valid point! I agree!

It’s not Hearns job to all of a sudden work it easy for Fury it’s not even him you clowns on here need to get your heads examined . Fury and Wilder has stopped undisputed since 2018 now all of a sudden the cry babies come out of hiding again on here about just that, funny how that works right ? Lol
You’re right on the money: Fury doesn’t want a fight with Usyk. If he did, he would bypassed a Dec. fight and just waited a few more months to fight Usyk in early 2023. Instead he seemed almost in a desperate panic to fight Chisora in December to give him a ready excuse to beg off fighting Usyk in Feb or March because it’s “ too soon” after the Chisora fight.

An people wonder why people have navigated towards the ufc an mma which itself has its flaws fighter pay etc an there's politics there to but they continuously have the best fighting the best every month of the year it seems.

An I know it's only one organisation an under one banner an it's easier to make fights that way but that's why it appeals to fans of combat sport an boxing with all the politics big fights not being made over an over again an we just have a constant cycle of he's ducking no he's ducking an they want this an they want that to the point you got fans on social media arguing about them things an about who should get this percent of split of a purse or something an it's so boring.

Love boxing but it's been frustrating for so long an feels like theres no super fight on the horizon right now an the years ending on a big whimper when it didn't have to

I accept your comment re. the Saudis though. Whatever I may think about the term "undisputed" it presumably means something to them so if it impacts the price they pay then I guess the IBF needs to be on the line. It's a shame we couldn't just get this fight on for December 17th - why didn't Usyk want to go with that date?
The belts give fighters who are not commercial draws leverage and a platform to excel. You say "corrupt", I say "give and take".

Also, Usyk said that becoming undisputed at HW is his only goal left in boxing above bouts with Fury, Joyce, Wilder, etc.

So clearly he understands the historical significance of becoming undisputed at HW like previous ATGs, especially the first one in the 4 belt era.

This is one of the most tedious things of the modern age. The "he's the A-side, bruh" mentality. Demand the best fight the best. It's not unreasonable to expect millionaire boxers to swallow their pride and take a split that will make a superfight happen. Fans of boxing (rather than fanboys of individual fighters) should want the best fights always - no excuses.

I don't care who's right or wrong re. Spence - Crawford. I see them both as a pair of morons in this situation.

Yeah I just don't see why bud didn't just take the lesser purse if he's so confident he'll win an if he did then haymon an errol are clowns for still putting up barriers after that. But both guys have massive egos an it's the reason the fight hasnt happened both didn't wanna budge for the sake of boxing an now they look bad. It's not even about the money it's about there ego not letting them budge on 5-10% difference in a purse cus like you said they've already got money
