Nah fam, Ruiz will make way more money fighting Wilder than Hrgovic! Now if Wilder pulls out to fight Joshua or Usyk, then by all means he should fight Hrgovic!

A few things to unpack here:

1. When Fury - Usyk didn't get signed for December then it was inevitable a mandatory would be called.
2. I don't like the sanctioning bodies but what were they supposed to do, wait until after Fury's fight?
3. There are four belts now - the situation is overly complex (it was bad enough with three) - how important is "undisputed" anyway given it never usually lasts?
4. Does Fury - Usyk mean any less if the IBF isn't on the line?

1. Based on what? The IBF were very generous during GayJ's reign.
2. Yes, it is only two weeks away.
3. Given the historical significance it carries, particularly in the HW division, a lot.
4. Considering the Saudis were putting up big money for the undisputed bout, this could scupper Fury vs. Usyk in the worst case scenario.

I know he makes way more fighting Wilder. The idea of Joshua getting to fight for the vacant belt after losing twice to Usyk then claims he needs a couple rebuild fights after breaking off negotiations for a WBC title shot & a 50/50 split only to come back & fight Hrgovic for the vacant seems wrong to me…
