i rooted for the pavlik against borenard.

obviously i rooted for tito against hopkins. i thought tito was gonna win.

i thought tito was gonna unify 160 and 168 and then fight roy at 175

No you thought Pavlik would beat Hopkins, so why not give him his props when you doubted him. Did anyone in their right mind think Floy would lose to Baldomire, Mitchell, Gatti, Oscar, or Marquez. I will not even mention Hatton, because I think he should be sleeping in the streets.

How does he suck balls when he cleaned out the LHW division by wrecking Griffin, Harding, Jones, and then IMO beat Glenn Johnson twice. The man was the BEST LHW there, and Hopkins made him look like a chump. It looked like Floyd vs JMM, but Hopkins actually fought a man people thought would end his career, and ended up ending his career instead.

Like Floyd vs JMM, except with the ages and size difference reversed.

Plus he went up two divisions, it would be like Floyd jumping up to MW to fight Pavlik.

Bernard jumped two divisions to fight the much larger Tarver while he was still the man. Not a great win like Tito, but pretty decent. Pavlik had just fought at 166, and while he didn't look as good, we're talking 4 pounds to where he fought Hopkins. 4 pounds against what? 17 year age difference?


Edit: I love Benny Hill, RIP. And Judah coming off a loss to a journeyman is not a great win.

ehh..... i never rated pavlik or tarver very highly. never liked tarver and although i like pavlik , even though he made top 10 p4p i thought he wouldn't hold on to his belt long. he probably would have lost it by now , if arum threw him in there with some top guys.

Floyd gets way more credit for beating Oscar at 154 than Bhop for beating Tarver at 174

i don't even think he's ever fought at 168.

maybe some catchweight fights slightly above 160 for non-title fights.

that's normal though. a lot of guys fight tuneups and such a couple pounds above their weight division.

The only reason Judah was for a belt is because Baldomir couldn't pay the sanctioning fees for it.

You didn't rate Pavlik, yet you picked him to beat Hopkins, which means you should give Bernard credit, especially considering he shut him out and destroyed his reputation.
