Thurman wouldnt fight Ennis for the same reasons the top guys wont until they have to, just too much risk for low reward, Thurman would see it as he is a stepping stone for Ennis and that wouldn't go down well with Keith who is looking for a final payday.

A cheque book is what he has on the WBC, ratings have been bought and sold forever in boxing, its one of those nobody cares yet converts to big money for somebody that otherwise would/should never get a title fight.
