Can someone please explain to me how having Al Haymon as manager/promoter has made his fighters more money and a better fighter? PBC guys don't fight other promoter's fighter because Al Haymon wants the lions share of revenue and must be distributed through Showtime only. I get all of that. But when his fighters aren't fighting other top stars because of their promoter, and they aren't even fighting the top fighters from their own stable, how do Haymon's fighters make real money?
Frustrating for me as a boxing fan. SMH.Comment

Spence is the same age as Canelo lol. Boots gets hit often and those rabbit punches are going to get him DQ'ed. Spence would beat Boots imo. You hear trainers say Spence looks so basic until you're in there with him. Boots needs to build his name up more. I wish Thurman didn't have whatever evidence he has on the WBC because he should not be a mandatory.
Bud needs to fight Ortiz, I know people love talking about size or weight bullies and I don't think Ortiz is an exception to that. I wish the Boss Bud lol would have made that call since he said his name didn't come up at all.Comment

I’ll man up. I thought Mikey would win. And I ate my words for thinking that. I even went to that fight. I’m from Cincinnati and only been to 3 fights in my life. All elite, big time fights. But this was the first one I had been to some 2006. That’s how confident I was that he had a shot. I was as much ‘hopeful’ as I was thinking he’d win.
But i feel like you guys all forget the timing of all this. Mikey was undefeated. And a lot of you overlook this, but he was putting people on their ass! He was a slow stalking shark, but he always got his bite. He was belt chasing, I admit. For some That’s the goal. For others, it’s not important. But he was on a great path in the game, making a name for himself. As an undefeated fighter that’s at the elite level, I have NO problem whatsoever if someone strives for greatness. None. I admire him for trying.

Boots gets hit way too much? We must be watching a different Jaron Ennis because Ennis is destroying everyone. He deserves a shot more than Thurman.. come on.. Thurman hasnt been active. Thurman needs to fight Boots or Ortiz to be considered for a title shot IMO. Right now I have boots and Ortiz over Thurman just due to activity. Bud and Spence need to fight Boots and Ortiz if they insist on ducking each other.Comment

Dud duckford won’t answer why he never fought mikey garcia at 135 OR 140 when both were with top rank. Same reason he didn’t fight DSG or manny. They all had good chances of beating him. Dud is too busy beating up mean machine Amir khan Julius indongo Ricky burns David avensyan claiming he’s the greatest p4p fighter since floyd to actually beat any top fighter not fighting their retirement fight lol. On the flip side, spence beat all the fighters dud stayed away from under top rank: mikey garcia DSG and he beatdown the guy who beat manny. This comes down to dud not thinking he can win.
