Lots of backward people on that side of the pond apparently.
What's obvious is that AL Is the holdup. He knows Spence could lose those belts. What happens if an independent fighter like TC holds all of the WW belts with no promotional co. behind him? Does he do like Canelo and and go to the highest bidder. Does he re sign with TR and give control of the belts over to them? Those are things AL has to think about. I used to be sure the TC ES fight would get made. Now I doubt it does because PBC is not going to lose their bargaining power in the ww division. And in no way do I think TC should bend over and take one for team PBC. That's what they are telling him to do to get the fight.

More damage control from Crawfraud, the ducker who wants to fight nothing but no hopers and shot to **** opponents with a name like Khan and Brook to keep his name somewhat relevant

Path of least resistance, easy fights for lots of money, we know that's how you roll Bud

Mikey would be the best fighter Crawford ever fought if the roles were reversed... by a good margin actually.
And YET, Crawford's points STILL have merit.

As for "damage control", no. Crawford walked away. Not Spence. Crawford made a deadline, stuck to it and is appearing in 3 weeks. He'll get paid for the effort. Within 3 months Spence should reappear, dazzle fans and get paid.

          Damage control?

          No, business as usual.

These multi multi-multi millionaires really have it hard. Greed is preventing a lot of fights, it’s refreshing to listen to Bivol who is more concerned about his legacy than money. Hard to feel sorry for these guys who earn more in one fight than I’ll earn my whole life working as an engineer (in Denmark though with the high taxes)

Two totally different scenarios. DH is a young man with most of his career ahead of him. TC is older, more established, with most of his career behind him. Younger men are expected to take more risks. They have more time in front of them to recover if their risk fails. Besides, that was a calculated risk highly in Haney's favor. Kambosos is nowhere near Spence level in terms of skill/size for the weight. As far as being forgotten, who will remember ES if he doesn't fight TC? His level of opposition is just as weak as TCs. They need each other to become memorable.

Crawford wasn’t Arum’s “guy”. Haymon would have treated him much better. Now he sounds jealous.

Haney may have the belts for the moment, but very few people consider him "the man" in the division. And alot of people would pick Tank, Shakur, Loma, or Garcia to beat him........
