He's not a champion, he lost his belt on the scale. But, he should beat Cruz, it will be a tough fight, but he should win.

No, Ryan hasn't fought anything close to an elimination fight yet, and his fight with Fortuna was at 140

I like this fight if it does actually happen. Clash of styles for sure

Never would have thought of this match up.

How doesn't he deserve it, he's ranked second in the WBC, he's actually ranked higher than Shakur at the moment, and he's been on a tear. He has won every fight, with the exception of a loss early in his career, besides Tank. I would say that he deserves just about anyone in the division besides Haney.

Thank you WBC. Early Christmas gift.

We know Haymond ****s everything up. Cant wait for PBC to go out of business. They are not working with other promoters or networks.

No Ortiz vs Thurman, Ennis, Ugas

No Davis vs Ryan Garcia, Loma, Haney, Shakur
No Wilder vs Joshua or Usyk
No Charlo vs Mungias, Andrade, Jacobs, Even Benavides

No Spence vs Crawford, and they Blamed Bob Arum. He is not in the picture and still couldnt make the fight happen.
I'm not a PBC defender, but the hate on this site is ridiculous, I'm beginning to think its other reasons than the ones stated. All the promotion companies are the SAME!! Top Rank won't accept or negotiate fights unless it is on ESPN, Golden Boy and Matchroom won't make a deal unless its on DAZN. But all I see on here is PBC hatred, where's the difference? And some of your statements were just false, Crawford nixed the fight with Spence by doing back door negotiations to fight a sparring partner for big money, thinking that he can always negotiate the Spence fight afterwards; double dipping for pay. Golden Boy blocked the Mungia and Charlo fight, which upset Mungia, that's public information. Usyk chose not to take Wilder, and wants to wait for Fury. The only person holding up Tank and Ryan is Oscar, again because he wants it on DAZN. Loma, Haney, and Shakur are with Top Rank, so will Arum only make those fights with Tank if they are on ESPN? It seems to me like you guys all want PBC to bend over and be a little bxtch for the rest of the promotion companies, and those subservient days are over.

I feel a lot of these guys (Teo, Tank, Garcia, Stevenson, Haney, maybe Navarrete, Valdez, etc) are in the Manny. Floyd, Mosley, DLH, Leonard, Duran, boat in terms of being on the lightweight>welterweight path. Something about developing more legacy and big money fights at welterweight seems to be where a lot of these talented lightweights end up.
