I don't see this fight happening. PBC and TR rarely mix, for one. That alone would give Arum and Shakur enough excuse to avoid the fight. I also doubt Haymon would let Cruz to cross the street. I just see so many red flags in this, I can't even say fight.

I’m sure both Mikey Garcia and Salido got instated by the WBO at number one contender or mandatory after missing weight and moving up.

I like this match-up, but I wouldn't hold on my breath on it actually happening.

After piling up an entire resume of window washers and tomato cans in Mexico, this was his first real fight. I have no doubt that Cruz would walk him down and destroy him on the ropes. Zepeda is undefeated with a bunch of KOs from cans in Mexico and Ring still only has him ranked at 7 in lightweight and WBC has him at 13. They have Cruz at 4 and 2 respectively.

And JoJo Diaz is a true 130 lber, but that's top ten, laughable. Zepeda fought his entire career, besides 4 fights, in Mexico fighting no names, you can't even look most of them up. He fought in the US for the first time in July 2021, you can't make this shxt up. His last fight before Diaz was against a can with a record of 32-11. Cruz KOs Zepeda in no more than 4 rounds.

Top Rank won't accept or negotiate fights unless it is on ESPN, Golden Boy and Matchroom won't make a deal unless its on DAZN. But all I see on here is PBC hatred, where's the difference? And some of your statements were just false, Crawford nixed the fight with Spence by doing back door negotiations to fight a sparring partner for big money, thinking that he can always negotiate the Spence fight afterwards; double dipping for pay. Golden Boy blocked the Mungia and Charlo fight, which upset Mungia, that's public information. Usyk chose not to take Wilder, and wants to wait for Fury. The only person holding up Tank and Ryan is Oscar, again because he wants it on DAZN. Loma, Haney, and Shakur are with Top Rank, so will Arum only make those fights with Tank if they are on ESPN? It seems to me like you guys all want PBC to bend over and be a little bxtch for the rest of the promotion companies, and those subservient days are over.
Oscar is asking co promotions and dual networks. Is that not fair? Crawford and De La Hoya are complaining about working with Al, they are not related or work for the same company and both are unable to work with Haymon.
Jose Ramirez fought Hooker on DAZN, so clearly Top Tank was not the problem. They sent a undefeated champ to DAZN.

Intriguing fight. Can't wait to see how it will be worked out between competing en(ti)ties. I'm not optimistic.

No, its not fair, especially when Oscar has been demanding the fights on DAZN for years when he was the bigger name company. All the PBC fighters left from under Oscar for one main reason, he was incapable of making the big fights they wanted. That was the problem also when Ryan was about to leave, and Canelo sued him to get out of his contract. Oscar's blatant mismanagement of all these fighters careers was put out for the public to see, and he checked into rehab, while Shaefer saved his company. Nothing has changed, he's still terrible at negotiating and making the big fights for his fighters, just look at Virgil, Mungia, and even Zurdo before he got the mandatory for Bivol. People on this site might hate Al, but all of those fighters that left GBP are advised by him, and they all talk about how great he is. Even Crawford said that he was great and loved talking to him. Crawford's problem was that he tried to pull a shady move by bringing in some so-called outside top secret hedge fund owners that he couldn't name for big money, and when Al shut that down, he still backdoor negotiated with BLK, while he was still in the Spence negotiations. People really need to find someone less smart to pick on, Haymon is not going for the dumb shxt, and he's not going anywhere.

It sucks that these promoters and networks refusal to work together kill the fights that the fans want to see and the fights that should happen. What's next , each Promoter and Network having their own belts and champions ?
We can have the Top Rank ESPN Champion , or the PBC Showtime Champion ....I love the sport of boxing , the business of boxing I absolutely hate.
