If this fight doesn't get made ASAP then Ruiz should stay active. Wilder is too dangerous to wait until training camp to get into shape. Given the holidays coming up, Ruiz is going to fck up some tamales so his management should push for a stay active fight.

Charles Martin in Carson would sell or Gerald Washington in Mexico. Both Martin and Washington can crack but have flaws Ruiz should be able to exploit.

That's a lie Duhaupas never even got knocked down by Wilder and the stoppage was somewhat questionable given how easily he was taking his punches all night.

I don't think so Andy, Deontay has that whipping right hand that snakes out at warp speed, and explodes on it's target like a nuclear bomb!

This fight can go either way. Ruiz beat Joshua the first time around and Joshua couldn't KO him in the second fight when he was entirely out of shape. So, Andy is durable and can fight unlike what the posters here suggest. And yes, a fast combination to Wilder's temple can also see him going down.

Having said that, I would say the odds slightly favor Wilder but not by a large margin. Potentially a 60-40 fight in favor of Wilder.

Ruiz is extremely slow of foot, terrible at cutting off the ring and Wilder is at his worst under pressure.

And generally Ruiz waits for you to go before he does and that's a recipe for disaster against Wilder.

Wilder should be a massive favourite it's almost a mismatch.

Its partially the era... Wilder does also have really fast feet. But yeah, Nobody even really tries to ignore his right side when they fight him.

                Tamales.

That's a valid concern. I hope Andy is careful over the holidays!

I like Ruiz, 1 of the very few fighters I can say Im a fan of but I wouldnt put $ on him.

Ruiz timing needs to be on point to have any chance against Wilder and sparring is NOT going to get the timing he needs to win.

The Ortiz match was good to get the competitive spirit alive but against Wilder his defense/counter needs to be 100% on point or it could be done at any time.

Anyways, most sites are pretty saying this fights done. You have to figure Ruiz' best chance is to stop him late or get a decision. I give that about a 15- 20% chance of happening. If Ruiz took a tune up and looked good, I think his odds would greatly increase.

Wilder's not my favorite fighter by a long shot, but the only guy to ever stretch him out is a giant. I don't see a normal height fat boy doing it.
