Thurman has no chance against Spence, but he might KO Ortiz.

Keith is a veteran with major pop in his punches, great IQ, punch selections, and footwork. It would get ugly for Virgil.

Fights are so difficult to make in this sport even when ABC bodies are ordering mandatory fights. On the other side of the fence:

What has happened to Vergil Ortiz's petition to WBA enforcing his mandatory status to Stanionis' belt?

He's only lost one fight, just because he has been inactive, we forget that this was one of the most feared men in the division. I don't see anything that Ortiz has on the same level as Thurman. Keef has much better defense, footwork, power, stiff jabs, good combinations from angles, set ups and traps for the uppercuts whether inside or outside, great counters... He's just a better all around boxer than Virgil with experience against champions. I 'm not even a fan, but I find myself defending him on here often because the way people underappreciate his skillset, power, and talent.

You don't know what you're watching. If Ortiz and Thurman get in the ring (Keith won't take that fight), Thurman's career is over inside of three rounds. Keith Thurman was once the top WW, but that was 6 years ago. He is neither physically nor mentally the same fighter, and Ortiz is far better than you give him credit for.

BoxingScene.com has confirmed that Stanionis and his team have until November 16 to confirm his next opponent, before his voluntary period expires at which point he will be required to honor his mandatory title defense."

This is what I don't understand about GBP, and Vergil Ortiz Jr., why petition for Stanionis, then Thurman, but NOT call the WBO for Crawford? By seeking Stanionis or Thurman, GBP has to deal with PBC. All Oscar does is complain about dealing with Al Haymon! By going after Crawford, GBP would be dealing with a totally free agent! Why not go that route???
He doesn't have to call the WBO for Crawford because he's the number 1 ranked for the WBO and his mandatory after Crawford's fight in December. They have to fight by June of 2023.

No, what you're missing is Tank and Charlo are the A-side to Ryan and Mungia, even though I wish they had all fought more big names, Tank and Charlo definitely have the better resumes.

What's the saying...."A bird in the hand is better than a bird in the bush"?

Ortiz should have taken his chance at Crawford with the WBO.......

Do you want to be a champion or not? Instead he has Fishnets begging on twitter like a cuck.
