I am not going to discredit Bivol overwhelming wins over Canelo and Zurdo, the former supermiddleweight champion had already fought multiple fighters that are larger than Bivol in actuality in Saunders, Plant, and Kolavev so there shouldn't be excuses on why he lost, and Zurdo was a big ass cruiserweight with a 44-0-0 record despite being unaccomplished.
But why try to discredit Mexico's boxing history despite that in the last 100 years they have produced outstanding talent like JCC, Morales, Barrera, JMM, Saldivar, Sanchez, Zarate, Olivares, Casanova, Arizmendi and etc.
Right now, besides Canelo there isn't really outstanding talent but that doesn't erase Mexico's boxing accomplishments from the past.
There are also European and American boxers at the light heavyweight division, yet I doubt there is anyone of note that can beat Bivol other than a declining Beterviev at the moment.
