To dethrone him Bivol must accomplish the same feat - beat Beterbiev.

Beating Canelo at 175 is not significant because Canelo wasn't ranked in the division at the time of the fight. He had a single win, years prior, against the ghost of Sergey Kovalev.

Beating Gvozdyk at 175 is a better win than beating Canelo at 175. If he had beaten Canelo at 168 or 160, that's a different ballgame.

Canelo never lost his titles at 175 after he KOed Kovalev, which is a better win than Gvozdyk's win over 45 yo stevenson.

Andre had a period of like literally 5 years in his prime where he fought nothing but bums. Go look up the time line, between drained dawson and kovalev 1.


GGG is older than him and still fighting, he showed up at 40 years old and he cant pull the trigger anymore, yeah he fought to survive. so what, Ward retired on a 5 punch combination to the balls on kovalev.

Golovkin fought a lot more "bums" than Ward ever did.

Andre was hella mad during shakurs last fight each time they critiqued shakur he’d glare over at the co announcers. Man, has a serious conflict of interest never quite understood why they let him talk during shakur matches. He’s got a financial interest in the kid and Andre ain’t ever been one to deal well with criticism even about himself.
