G vs Canelo 3 reminded me a bit of Floyd vs Pac.
Two multi-millionaires in a fight a few years past its sell-by-date.
As you age it gets harder to stay hungry and leave it all in the ring (like Martinez vs Ancajas did in their last fight).

It is widely accepted that Golovkin knocked peak Kovalev out in sparring (Kovalev has has not denied it). Ward hit Kovalev with his hardest shots in both fights and couldn't budge him. Styles makes fights and all that but if you believe in triangle theory like me Golovkin would've been too tough and too hard a puncher for Ward to handle.Leave a comment:

GGG found a genie and asked for 3 Nelo fights.
That's all GGG ever wanted.Leave a comment:

You raving, Kovalev was a big feared 175 pounder, Ward beats lil G all day!
If vodka drinker Kovalev was getting through and wobbling Ward with jabs imagine what GGG would've done to him... Also Kovalev fades down the stretch in fights while GGG only gets better. Ward may have gone the distance with GGG but he would've definitely been dropped and hurt multiple times. There ain't been one fighter who hasn't been hurt by Golovkin in all the fights he's had (including Canelo and Derevyenchenko) Ward would've been no different.
Ward went life and death with journeyman Darnell Boone FFS...

The fact is Saunders flat out quit and Smith stopped trying to win. More truth is that Canelo looks good against average Brits and less impressive against better fighters which incides an ancient ggg. That was my original point and is what caused you to keep replying to me like a scorned female. Stop with your gay advances ya h0m0.

Ggg got his loss after 35.

Facts are facts and you're the one mad about those facts.I block it out with dollar signs because the site will entirely block out the word and I want you know that I know you’re puss. Smith quit trying to win no matter what excuse you want to make. Want to see someone try to win with 1 arm and not b***h up, watch Russell jrs last fight. Saunders quit plain and simple. A 40 yr old ggg who didn’t do much until the last 4 rounds still did more than both of those guys combined. You can celebrate mediocrity if you’d like to but don’t get emotional and whiney just because I don’t share that same sentiment. Ya tender hearted phag.
Nobody is making fun of you for being gay.Leave a comment:

He was a 15 year old kid when he weighed 140lbs. I'm sure if Golovkin turned pro at 15 he would've weighed approx.140lbs as well...
Canelo has fought professionally as low as 140 lbs. He was for sure moving up in weight and Golovkin was without a doubt the bigger man.
When Golovkin was crying about being avoided he said he would fight anyone from 154 to 168. But then Andre Ward raised his hand and suddenly all that tough guy talk went out the window.
One of Canelo's best runs was when he fought 4 fights in a calendar year and unified all the belts at 168 lbs. He did VADA testing for every single one of those training camps.
His stamina has become more of an issue as he has focused more heavily on weightlifting. That muscle has an expensive oxygen cost. I wish he would ditch the weights and go more old school.
The origins of the 154-168 argument came from GGG being frustrated at not being able to find anyone who wanted to fight him at 160lbs. Paraphrasing he said he would be open to a fight with anyone between 154-168. Would Ward have come down to 160 to fight Golovkin? I think not. Its a bit like Ilunga Makabu not being able to find a fight at cruiser so he goes up to heavyweight after Fury calls him out.
Canelo only fought 4 fights in a calendar year because he is a cash cow who gets special privileges. There are many fighters who could've replicated and exceeded what Canelo did if given the chance. If he fought someone who was actually dangerous in that period (like a Charlo or Benavidez) I'd allow him more respect but none of those opponents had a realistic chance of knocking him out. He was a huge favourite to beat each one of them.Leave a comment:
