He's a two time WBC champion and presently ranked #1 as the interim champion, he shouldn't have to even ask for the fight. Canelo should want it to prove that as undisputed champion, he will take on any of the #1 ranked fighters for the sanctioning bodies which he holds the belts. That's your job as the undisputed champion to prove that you are the top dog and none of the top tier fighters in the division can beat you.

Fools don't realize that Canelo simply playing the 'who has he fought game' is confessing he is ducking. A confident fighter would not get angry, and would praise David and say he was looking forward to fighting him in the near future rather than comically dismissing him. Anyone with a brain knows David would be a super tough fight for Canelo, so what else does he need to prove?
