I think that he's going to fight Janibek before he moves up. Alimkhanuly started calling him out as soon as he got Andrade's vacated belt. It makes sense because he can unify, move up, and Jermell can make a few defenses as undisputed, then move up to try to take over 160.

I don't know what makes you think that? Especially since Alimkhanuly is signed with Top Rank! This isn't Fury vs. Wilder! I know he was called out, but I've heard no response.

If Benavidez wants the fight he should "cross the street" right - but it makes zero as to why the PBC still haven't put together any mix of Benavidez, Plant, Charlo or Morrell Jr; all of them are good fights and they could have an in-house tournament.

I don't know about David Morrell, Jr but I do know that Caleb Plant and Jermall Charlo wants no part of David Benavidez. They are both ducking him like Canelo is.

Charlo been wanting to fight GGG prior to GGG fighting Derv. WBC ordered GGG to fight Charlo in 2018 to become Canelos mandatory after GGG lost. GGG declined and instead went on to fight Derv for the IBF title after they stripped Canelo.

This isn't 2018! GGG is now 40, and coming off another poor performance! I don't see what Jermall gets out of that fight? I think he would make more money from a PPV fight with Benavidez! Plus, if he wins the Interim title from Benavidez, he's that much closer to Canelo!

He called out GGG, GGG wouldn't fight him, was Canelo's mandatory, Cinnabon ran as well. This guy fights his mandatory fights as the champion, KOs most of them, and people question his heart. The only difference between the twins is that all the other champions agreed to fight Jermell. Something is going right in a division where none of the top fighters are making excuses and running. He's been trying to get the fights with the champions and they get the hell out of there.

Gingerhead is right, Benavidez only notable win..Dirrell ,yet for some reason his delusional ass fans say he will beat and or stop canelo,based on what? He doesn't only fight mandatories! Sulecki is WBC #7, and he was gonna fight him anyway! Benavidez is the fight he needs! Benavidez is the fight PBC needs! Canelo and GGG are not with PBC! a 40 year old man just fought @ 168, I'm sure Jermall can do the same! Canelo is getting surgery, so there's no better fight for Charlo than David Benavidez! MAN UP!

Other than those British punching bags, u fought a too small glass chin Khan, a very faded El Perro heavy bag Angulo (a Mexican, by the way) out of shape OG kush smoking Chavez Jr (another Mexican), a James Kirkland without Ann Wolfe training him was just a shadow of himself when u picked him, a very faded and battle worn Cotto, GGG who u tried to wait out until he faded and u still clearly lost the 1st fight with him, were out landed by him in the 2nd fight and got ur eye busted open and was tired and holding on at the end, a faded Danny Jacobs, Kovalev who was totally washed up, out of shape and drunk on potato vodka, non threatening soft punching runners Caleb Plant and Billy Jo Saunders, and the only live dog was Lara, who many think u lost to, and Bivol, who whipped ur Clenbuterol ass real good. So what have u really done since Mayweather pieced u up in 2013? And which of these opponents would beat Benavidez and/or deserved an opportunity more than him? So yea u do duck ppl. U pick and choose very strategically and carefully. All ur fights have an asterisk next to then for the reasons i mentioned. Fight Benavidez ASAP, or retire in deep shame

Who has David Benavidez beaten to make you so confident that he would not only beat Canelo but KO him??? David Benavidez has beaten exactly one current world champion, and that was Anthony Dirrell, one of the weakest champions ever. Beyond that he beat a pudgy version of former MW champ David Lemieux who was 4-5 years past his prime. Go take a look at David Benavidez' record, then come back and brag about him.

Absurd post. If Benavidez would have had the discipline to have kept his WBC belt, Canelo would have already relieved him of it last year.
