Guaranteed, Benevidez will put up a better fight than ggg did and also will sell better tickets wise and in PPV. Canelo just wants to carefully pick his opponents and prefers European level talent. Canelo may never fight in pbc again because there would be no $40m soft touch fights

Who has David Benavidez beaten to make you so confident that he would not only beat Canelo but KO him??? David Benavidez has beaten exactly one current world champion, and that was Anthony Dirrell, one of the weakest champions ever. Beyond that he beat a pudgy version of former MW champ David Lemieux who was 4-5 years past his prime. Go take a look at David Benavidez' record, then come back and brag about him.

This is boxing,you take on the next big challenge and take care of business. Benavidez was i think 20yo when he first won the wbc 168 belt. He was young and immature when he lost the belt both times. Now hes the mandatory to Saul. Either fight him or vacate. Pretty simple. We all know big sis Jermalla dont want nothing to do with Benavidez. And Bivol already put his mark down by taking Saul to school. If Saul needs a break, then he can take one cause he deserves it but after that, he needs to make a decision.

Can’t deny the facts. Canelo’s straight ducking Benavitez with cop out reasons. “What has he accomplished?”

What did Fielding, Yildirim, or Callum Smith accomplish? Benavitez is 100X more accomplished than those 3. BJS and Plant were solid, but they’re not killers and are way less dangerous than Benavitez. And it’s been confirmed that Bivol was a cherry pick gone wrong. The only reason he fought GGG now is because the guy is old.

Its getting harder and harder for me to respect Canelo these days. All you have to do is read between the lines to see that Canelo is avoiding the best guy’s available to him.

Benavitez beats Canelo and Canelo knows this. That’s the real reason. What’s even worse, it’s the fight the fans what to see the most, and it won’t happen.

Canelos next opponent is probably gonna be someone we’ve never heard of.

I definitely don't think that after what I saw Saturday, Cinnabon won't make it out of a ring with David awake. But we'll never know because Ginger will continue with the excuses and accomplishments narrative.

The Canelo who showed up last Saturday would be in real trouble against top opposition.

He never had 40 yr old GGG in any trouble at any time in the fight. And GGG barely threw any punches.

If Benavidez wants the fight he should "cross the street" right - but it makes zero as to why the PBC still haven't put together any mix of Benavidez, Plant, Charlo or Morrell Jr; all of them are good fights and they could have an in-house tournament.

PBC/Haymon share some blame but it's been pretty apparent for some years now that Plant and Charlo absolutely want nothing to do with Benavidez. Plant comes off as having a sense of entitlement and probably feels David is "beneath him". Jermall is Jermall,nothing more to be said there. No one and thier mammy know wtf Morrell Jr is as he hasn't done jack shiet just yet so no sense in making that fight. David just recently put PBC on blast confirming they allow guys like Plant and Charlo to continue with the ducking allowing tune-ups for good paydays.

It's up to PBC to make Plant vs Benavidez now. A victory for either helps thier stock and credibility credibility,especially David's. David goes out there,beats down Plant in more emphatic fashion than Canelo,the public then will start calling for a Canelo vs David showdown.
