Though it was vs a mannequin of a man, sadly, Canelo is a crafty boxer with hella body movement and defence.

Beyond his hand speed, that’s the real story, here, because he gave Golovkin next to no openings with that guard, and his shuffles just out of reach. Weighing it up in-ring, G’s obviously thought better of it, because he was always gonna get beat to the punch, but for small change.

Would have been good to see Golovkin double and triple jab from early, but it’s easy to see why he didn’t find the motivation. And he’s never gonna go to the body with the above factors stacked against him.

Retirement’s obviously on the brain, and once it’s in there, your body’s self-preservation instinct is indefatigable: why risk enjoying that dough by putting it on the line?

Canelo landed much better, much harder shots in the rematch, more consistently.

He won, yes, but mainly because GGG didn’t do anything until the end. But I felt Canelo landed hard shots more frequently in the rematch. He looked better. But I guess that injured left hand may be the answer to that. Still, if that was the case, why promise a KO?

Canelo has regressed and I don’t see how he will beat a bigger foe in Bivol who just doesn’t care about Canelo’s punches and blocked them with ease.

I think Canelo needs to forget about 175 and just focus his career on 168 vs Benavidez and Charlo. He is biting off too much at this point.

Haha yeah I said the same thing on the previous page. Felt like GGG won 2-3 rounds max.

Put your ear to the ground and can hear the sound of Charlo/Munguia's testes finally descending

I know nobody bar the judges will agree with me but I felt ggg boxed his best in the 3rd fights landed his best punches tonight, and won the most rounds in the fight in the 3rd I m also the few that thaught canelo won handy in all 3 but this was seemed a tougher fight than the others, he got cut up and brushed a bit, ggg looked good for a 40 year old, 2 great fighters

One of the biggest influences of scoring is that just because a fighter finally gets a little in his zone, that he is then winning the rounds. While GGG did better late and coming on a little, it doesn't mean he was winning all those late rounds. This was an overall dominant win for Canelo. Father time takes rainchecks, but not forever. Not everyone is Hopkins or Foreman.

Canelo is losing his cash cow status in the eyes of judges. I expect him to get some undeserved losses in the future.

Who was the mexican lady in green that interviews Canelo after fights? Those breasts were looking good.

I thought Golovkin best performance was in the first fight (a fight in which he won IMO). This was absolutely his worst performance out of the 3 fights.. He literally threw nothing behind that jab for the first 7 rounds and looked awfully slow

Anyway 2 legends and I'm glad that this trilogy is finally over though I would've preferred to see that fight in 2019.
